Wood Burning Kit,Aokebeey Pyrography Iron Kit Wood Craft Tool Set Engraving Burning Pen for Carving (73PCS Pyrography Pen)

It’s a bit flimsy but is a good starter kit to try out pyrography with.

What can I say other than complete rubbish, the tool doesn't get hot enough to burn more than a couple of millimetres of wood before it cools and you have to wait for it to get hot again for the next millimetre, whilst holding it with the handle the heat coming off the tube is intense and you can't hold it for more than a few seconds, this may be the big problem, perhaps the heat dissipates before getting to the tip. Also without pressing hard the tool started to bend just below the handle.The temperature control knob doesn't seem to do anything, I returned it within a couple of hours of receiving it and ordered one of the better ones with a transformer and dual pens, obviously more money but at least it does work, unlike this product.

I have not had time to use this engraving / soldering tool as yet.I bought it to use primarily for wood engraving, but I may haveoccasions to use it for soldering too.I had a close look at all the accessories which seem comprehensive.For the cost it seems a good purchase for most users of this type of tool.

I have recently started experimenting with pyrography and was searching for something a bit more specialised than the kit I bought to get me started. I needed something which would allow me to alter the temperature also give me a better range of tips so I can change from doing detailed work to shading.It arrived quickly and I was pleased to see it all contained in a good quality case, which actually does hold everything easily, without the need for a degree in physics to be able to fit everything back in!The pen itself does have a dial with which you can change the temperature, which is great for different details and trying out different woods, or even cork or leather (haven’t tried that yet though!).There is a fabulous selection of tips, from the really fine ones to wider ones which will be great for working on my shading technique.I also like the grip on the pen, which stops it slipping when it gets warm, and gives you better control. It comes with a stand too, allowing you leave it to heat up/cool down, and protecting your surfaces. All in all, a great product! Better than those you find in the larger hobby stores!

This implement came with no instructions none that made any sense anyways. When the pen heated up the hole product became lose and had no chance of writing with it. Plenty of pieces in the set but no way of knowing how to attach them or how to use them therefore I will now have to purchase a book for information on how to use this thing and descriptions for the other pieces with it. Would not recommend this for a beginner unless sold with the full instructions and uses for it.

The handle feels really hot during use. Get that the product works on heat but that doesnt seem right. Screwed in one of the ends to use. Keeps loosening during use but can't re-tighten due to how hot it is. Now that nib is completely stuck rendering everything else useless. Was getting excited about using this but now wont be able to

My husband got this and he ordered it one day and got it the next!!!Really good service.He loves it .He says it’s easy to use and has had a lot of fun using it.For the price as they it’s a no brainier.Try it and see.

Was sceptical at first to purchase this product because of the 1 and only review.However, I took a chance and thank god I did. Great little kit at a good price, It is a 2 point plug so those in the UK will need adapters.But, don't let that put you off with everything they offer you it's great for value.Quick delivery, Great product, what else can you ask for.
