Nicely packaged. Charger and batteries in one box - I'll keep it for storage. Batteries had some charge already but brought both to full charge. Batteries fit into my 15+ yr old Craftsman 19.2 volt tools. Used drill and circ saw first. One thing, tho. The battery post fits very snugly into the tool. Pretty tight. My old hands had trouble pulling the battery out. Part of the problem is me - just don't have the strength I once had, but that's life in the senior lane. But I did remove the battery finally and I don't have to buy all new tools.

I like my 20+ year old set of black Craftsman 19.2v Diehard cordless tools. I was down to 3 old batteries that didn’t hold a charge for more than a few minutes. It is the SHEERNESS of hoarding tools, that I saved them for so long, as the batteries have been NLA for the past 7 years.Then, while searching batteries for my newer tools I ran across a full selection of the older 19.2v battery platform. I ordered two twin packs of the 3.6 Ni-Mh 19.2 (4 batteries) for less than one of my newer tool batteries cost.Two days later I was using my older 1/4” impact driver, 1/2” impact drills, jigsaw and sander again. The replacement batteries have a much longer battery life, or run time than the original ones ever had. I’ve had them for about two months now and 2 batteries that I haven’t used up yet are still holding the original charge.An AWSOME find for those of you who are still hanging on to your old black 19.2v cordless tools. Was having trouble finding new batteries for older Craftsman tools (19.2) without buying the tools to get new batteries. Works great.

I bought my Sears Craftmen's electric tool set about 12 years ago and I always had to charge the batteries often and every time I used a tool. the batteries would completely discharge overnight from day one. I also got a cooling fan with the kit and the battery would be dead from a full charge in 15 minutes. I have come to realize the original batteries were bad from the get go. I have had these replacement batteries almost 3 months and have done several projects drilling many holes and installing many screws from the charge they had when I received them. I have not charged them, yet. As for longevity I'll report back in a year.
