Works as advertised. A little complicated to set up. But it works for what I need it for.

This is a nice clock. The dimming feature is great as this sits on my bedside table. The alarm starts off soft and builds. I would have given it 5 stars except for one very peculiar feature. The instructions are horrendous! It honestly DOES NOT tell you how to turn off the alarm!!! Even if you go to the website to download the full instruction manual, it still gives it no mention. If you don't believe me, try for yourself! I had to set the alarm a few times and try it out before I found the right button to push. It's the radio on/off button, which is ok, but why not actually spell this out??? Update 2/1/15: I am downgrading this to one star. Only buy this if you live alone or ALWAYS sleep until the alarm goes off. Say you wake up early one day. Your spouse is still asleep and you don't want to wake them. With a normal alarm clock that has a physical switch dedicated to turning the alarm on and off, you just turn the alarm off and get out of bed. That won't happen with this alarm clock! There is a multi step process to getting the alarm turned off/on. It takes multiple clicks of the buttons that are flush with the clock's top surface. So, first you have to find the buttons in the dark, then you have to start clicking away at these. If your spouse is a light sleeper, they will wake up to all the clicking. This will also happen if you forgot to turn the alarm back on before your spouse when to bed, think Sunday night. This happened with my spouse a number of times. Since she never uses the alarm function on her clock, we have swapped. Her's has a dedicated on/off switch.

I've had a clock radio for years and years that I really hated and don't know why I didn't get rid of it sooner. This one is great - has only the features needed, not a lot of other stuff to clutter it up. I like that it has 3 levels to adjust the brightness - have mine set on the lowest. That was one of the things I disliked about my old one - it was so bright (even on the low setting) that when I got up in the middle of the night it was blinding. Can't attest to the sound quality because I don't play it - just use it as a wake-up feature and then turn it off right away. It was easy to set up and the size is great - doesn't take up much room on my nightstand. Well worth the price paid.

I read the reviews before buying this, so I had some concerns about setting it up. After magnifying the buttons in the picture, I figured it couldn't be that hard and it wasn't. Here are a list of pros and cons as I see them: Pros: Easy to set up - once I read the instructions, I had no problems setting this up. Two alarms - if you need one for you and one for someone else or just need to be up at different times during the week, then having two alarms is nice. The alarms can be set for buzzer or radio. When the alarm goes off, it's quiet at first, but gets louder the more you ignore it. Compact - this is smaller than I expected, which is nice. Easy to read - large digital display is easily read in the middle of the night from the farther side of the bed. Three brightness settings from dim to medium to bright - I have it on the middle setting. Tried the highest setting, but it nearly lit up the area around the clock. Sound quality for the radio is better than I expected - I've had little clock radios before that made me want to throw them against the wall the sound was so bad, but this one is quite pleasant. Large easy to find snooze button - I don't use that often, but it's nice to find it easily for the times I do. Twenty station pre-sets - ten for am and ten for fm radio. Cons: Buttons serve multiple functions, so you do need to be aware of what's what when setting up and using. To set the alarms or turn alarms on or off, you have to hold down the appropriate button till the alarm time flashes, then proceed to set the time or cycle through to which alarm signal you want or to turn it off. If you set up the radio station presets, you have to cycle through each one till you get what you want. You can't just decide you want the station at preset five and go straight there, unless it's on your fourth preset. All in all, a nice little radio alarm clock for the price. I would add that the display is more of a yellow green, than a true green, but it's still better than a red display in my opinion.

the item was not as expected and the item description they didn't mention the power supply needed to it ... it was 110 volts and this power is not available anymore in KSA so it didn't work and i returned it

Superbe.10* Très petit n'encombre pas trop la table de coin, c'ent mon deusième, mon épouse a dû mettre un peût trop de nettoyant dessus, chose qu'il ne faut pas faire. (Rien dessus..) Un peût difficile à comprendre mais tellement agréable à utiliser. Je le recommande à tous, de plus maintenant, les détails de fonctionnement sont beaucoup plus facile a suivre..
