They are small, you can sit or stand up on them and they are not going to get damaged but they aren’t made to stay sitted on them.

Q: Will these slide on tile or laminate wood flooring?

I think they would. The bottoms are smooth.

Q: Can you place your hands on them (like doing a plank..2 under hands and 2 under feet)? Or would it be painful in your hands?

Yes you can. You can choosr between flat or the spiky surface! I use both sides and I even step on them with my feet as I am in a plank position.

Q: I’m looking to use these for softball training. Can you use metal spikes on them?

Use sneakers. Metal has a high chance of popping them
