Better than Others I've Used
Mayco's Bisque Fix is the best I've used thus far. It's priced well and the fact that you only get a small amount is actually a "plus!" These substances tend to dry out quickly if you don't use them within a six months or so. I had a small crack to repair and tried using the Amaco Bisque Fix I had stored in my supply locker, only to find out it had hardened. Once that happens, there is no recovery. You have to discard it. That's what prompted this purchase. This product brushed on easily, filled the crack and I was able to lightly sand the greenware before it went into bisque firing. It came out nice. Another "plus" is that it doesn't turn bright white when it dries. It's the same color B-Mix Slip. So when it dried it matched the color of the clay perfectly. Lastly, because it's a small container, I'm more likely to use it before it dries out.

Best bisque fix on the market
I love this bisque-fix. It works really well. It can be applied to both greenware and bisque-ware (but when applied to the latter, it's best to re-bisque your piece prior to glazing). It does turn white after firing, so expect to cover it with a darker glaze or you might see the repair on your finished piece. I love that the product doesn't dry out like other products, which after opening, dry out within a few months. I've had my container for almost a year and it's still as good as new!

It's better than magic!
This is better than magic water!I have repaired completely dry greenware with this product that the finished repair has never separated or cracked using moist clay along with this product! It's absolutely magical! Just read the instructions!I generally also add it to slip that is made with diluted soda ash.

Low fire only!
Low fire only! This is not for mid/high range firings.

10 stars! Thanks, Mayco!
I used this on greenware. My handles on a pot were for sure going to pop off in the kiln. I put them on when the clay was a touch over leather hard so of course since the new clay shrunk at a different rate than the clay I attached it to, I got cracks all around the handles. I used this mender before bisque firing. Work quickly, apply liberally getting it right into the cracks. I did 2 solid coats. After the bisque fire, NO CRACKS at all! You can't even tell I used this. This will forever be my go-to for handles. Not to mention it's significantly cheaper than the Amaco brand mender. 10 stars! Thanks Mayco!

Better Than Most
It did a pretty good job of keeping my pottery repair together in preparation of the glaze kiln.
