Great Pair of Pants
We'll start with the only downside which is like many have already mentioned the pants do run on the big size and the size ranges are kinda funky. Trying to find your size can be tricky, but I found along with several of friends and family who've also purchased these pants is that you should go a size smaller than what you normally wear. In some cases maybe even two sizes. They have draw stings on the hips and you can wear a belt if need be. The positives far out weigh the slight inconvenience of trying to find you size. They are very durable and very comfortable. More pockets then you know what to do with. The color and fabric seem to be holding up very well to multiple washes, with little to no fading and almost no shrinkage. There is also plenty of room to throw a pair of thermals or even sweatpants underneath if need be. The biggest draw for me was the fact that I'm a big guy and it's almost impossible to find cargo style pants in larger sizes. I've tried Dickies, Carhartt and several others and they are great pants but they are tight in the thighs or are just not proportioned to fit larger guys. And don't have nearly as many pockets. These pants have plenty of room and pockets and meet my needs as a contractor beautifully. If you're a bigger guy looking for a great pair of pants for work or anytime. I highly recommend giving these a try. I own 3 pairs and will certainly will be buying more myself.

Quality Without Compare BUT Sizing Is Tricky
I am buying up these cargo pants for casual wear and I have successfully purchased and retained two pairs of these pants. The quality is, without question, outstanding (surprising) from the reinforced seams, to the material, to the knee and seat integrated patches, to the attention to functional detail, to the selection in solid and camouflage patterns and colors, to the reinforced pockets, and to the double cargo (thigh and calf cargo pockets), and to the fit (when they fit). That said - I have found - that when I order the small size the pants are one to two inches larger than the maximum advertised size leaving the pant large about the waist AND corresponding large everywhere else. My solution was to return the pair and order another pair of the same size and "shazam" the sizing problem with the current pant was resolved. Having hit upon this (random) method I proceed to purchase other color/patterns of these pants using the same inane approach to getting a pant whose size corresponds to the advertised size. I have measured the pants that I have purchased and find that the maximum waist size can vary from the advertised maximum size to a size that can vary up to 2 and a fraction larger. It seems to be a quality control issue. I hasten to add the quality of this pant is such that the sizing can be resolved as described above. Now this is "my" issue, but having said that in reading other reviews of this pant there does appear to be an issue with sizing quality control. I live in a large city and have visited other Army/Navy outlets and this pant far exceeds the quality that I have found at these stores. I work at home and virtually live in these pants rotating among five pairs - I still have three pairs to (successfully) purchase to fully retire my current set of five "house pants". Returning pants that do not fit and are too large has not discouraged me from continuing with my (successful) purchase of three more pairs of these pants - should you have the same issue as myself don't be discouraged, you likely will not find a pant with this quality along as many dimensions as this pant. Clearly, I would not have burned the clock writing this review unless I felt that this pant is a "find". Enjoy.

Pants
Have only ever heard negative things about rothco in general. These pants are of good quality and fit well.

It sucks wasting $$$ on cargos you dont enjoy wearing... I tried many brands before i found these...
I own several Rothco Paratrooper Fatigues in the "Large" size and they are all enjoyable to wear on my 6.2"/210lb/35" waist. Do a search to find some of the other colors available on Amazon as well. This "brand" of Paratrooper Fatigues are the best i have found, for the money. Chocolate/Dark Brown: This color is the darkest pair i own and i really like them, but they are not at the top of the list, due to my personal taste when it comes to pairing dark brown with shirts/shoes. Olive Drab: This color and Woodland were the first colors i purchased and while i did love the fit, Olive eventually became the least favorite color i owned. I wore them around the house (gardening, etc), but when i went out, the other colors were much more pleasing to wear/match. Woodland: If you are tired of only finding cheap, ugly patterned, skinny jean camo pants in stores, get yourself a pair of these. The pattern is awesome and they fit loose/flexible on my 35" waste. They look/feel like real military issue woodland camo pants, at a good price. Stone/universal: This is a whitish color and my favorite pair on a warm day where i need to dress nice, but still be casual/relaxed. They breathe much better than jeans and the color wont absorb the heat. Khaki: This color is what you would expect, but the fit is somewhat looser/baggier/softer that the other colors i have. This makes it a great choice for those that need a flexible and loose pair of pants. Or, for those that find the large size in the other colors just a tad too tight. Pairs well with most anything. Russett Brown: I just received a pair of these and have only worn them once, but to me, this color has more character than the Chocolate/Dark Brown. It blends very well with the color shoes and shirts i prefer. Overall: If you love cargo type pants and have been searching for a loose fitting pair, which in my experience is hard to find for my frame (6.2"/210lb/35" waist), do yourself a favor and get one of these. The price is great for how much you will want to wear them... It wont be long until your own several colors, like me!

Great pants
I love these pants. I have three pair and will get a fourth. Prows: 1. I have tried a different brand that had all buttons and lets face it when you have to go in a hurry you will really appreciate the zipper fly on these pants. 2. All the pockets are button down and after the holes are broke in they work easily. I found my size and they fit great. There is plenty of room for comfort. They don't don't ride up. Cons: 1. The buttons can catch in things and pop off. This only happened once but as I don't sew it is a downer. 2. No real place for a smart phone. Let me elaborate. I use one of the big leg pockets to carry my phone and it works but the big pocket lets the phone move around to much and bang on things. I work heavy construction and am always jumping in ditches or around equipment. If there were a vertical smart phone sized pocket in the larger pocket these pants would be perfect. Summery: I wear these pants every day because they fit great, look great, and hold up very well to work and beating the bushes while hunting. They come faded which takes the edge off the print. Once the lightest color starts to take on a dingy tinge, from use, they look a lot more like the Asian Theater BDU from Vietnam.

Finally pants for taller girls!
I have such a hard time finding cargo pants that actually fit my body. Fits in waist but too short in length. Long enough length but the waist sticks out so I’d have to wear a belt. Tight in the seat. Thighs look huge. Hips look huge. Extra material in front looks like a pooch. It is exhausting. These pants, however, couldn’t be more perfect for me. Length past my ankles, seat is not tight nor loose, waist can be cinched smaller, no extra material in front and my hips don’t look huge. The material is a bit heavier but not uncomfortable. (I have heavier ones and they’re too hot). I love these so much I had to order another color.

Bought a pair just to try out...
And I wound up buying 3 more pair. I have the Black, Khaki, Stone and US Tricolor and they all fit the same. A lot of reviews I read some buyers report receiving different sizing on different colors but all my pants fit the same. I am 6'1" about 195 lbs and my waist is 34/36 and usual length at the inseam for jeans is 34. I bought a L and they fit like they were tailored for me. I was amazed because in my entire life this has never once been the case. I have always found it hard to find anything to fit me perfect, even tops, like sleeve length always being too short or inseam not long enough etc. These pants fit nice and loose at the waist with about 2-3 fingers gap but with the adjusters they will cinch up without even needing a belt. They will release with pressure like when you bend over and let out so its best to wear a belt anyway. The length is perfect with my tactical boots. They sit right above the sole and never touch the ground. When I sit they do not ride up past my ankles but barely uncover my laces. The leg width is also nice and roomy - I cannot stand skinny pants they look ridiculous, I was a kid in the 80s and a teen in the 90s I like big flares haha but these pants perfectly cover all your laces except the first couple rows above the toe. If you blouse over the laces they look great too. The only thing I wish they had was button fly but they have buttons everywhere else. They seem plenty strong for normal everyday wearing and the occasional trip up to the mountains (from Denver, Colorado) for a nice hike or camping trip. At $40 a pair I think they are a pretty good deal compared to other pants like Ralph Lauren Cargo Chino 67s (which are also one of my favorites) but they are half the price and in the cases of some other brands, even a third of the price. These Rothco para's are a great fitting and decently manufactured cargo pant well worth the price IMO.
