These Spontex non scratch sponges are simply the best. They last a long time, of course it depends on how often they are used. But, in general the outlast store bought sponges.When first used, they are a little 'stiff' however, after a some use they soften up.They clean my non-stick pots and pans with ease.The non scratch part does not fray after extended use, nor does it break away/come apart from the sponge.Get them and you'll never look back.
