I like the idea and they work pretty good but they ...
I like the idea and they work pretty good but they don't last very long so "reuse" is pretty limited. You can reuse them for a single tube until the tube is empty but, if you don't use the caulk up in just a few times , the pokey end is usually broken off or bent and gummed up so much that another tube is iffy. Also, as you screw them in the increasing width of the screw part stretches the caulk tube's plastic tip so next time you use the caulk it has a slightly larger hole; if you use a tube sparingly, after a while the hole is too big to use the Caulk Saver anymore. So overall... good idea, I buy them, but I treat them as throwaway after a couple uses.

Best Caulk Tube Saver I Have Ever Used
Best caulk tube savers I have ever used. Problem with most caulk tube covers/caps is that the caulk remaining in the tube nozzle tends to dry up and the dried caulk can be difficult to remove without having to cut off some of the nozzle. Like many handymen, I have instead used long wood screws to close the end of the tube nozzle, but it is tricky to get the screw in far enough to be effective without damaging the nozzle end. Each Caulk Saver has an extended tongue that creates a channel way down into the caulk tube, so when the Saver is removed, the channel allows fresh caulk to flow. Be careful that you do not twist the Saver too far in, however, as the Saver is tapered and it can stretch and distort the end of the tube nozzle.

Works as advertized for me
I have been using one for long term storage and it works much better than a nail for that. I was also previously using wire nuts or caps and they weren't the best as the tip would dry out after some time, these seem to keep a channel of good caulk open. I don't usually use a thin bead so I didn't notice any problem with over stretching the opening.

It's okay
While this item appears to do a good job of keeping caulk and adhesives from drying out, you do have to watch when inserting the Caulk Saver as it has a tendency to want to spread the plastic tube wider.

Three Stars
they work, but not the same quality that I purchased in the hardware store.

Good concept--a bit thick
Work fine if they fit your cut. I wish they started more thinly--I use a very thin bead for paint caulking and these were too thick--had to stick to an old nail.
