Honestly, this is a really nice knife all around and I’m impressed. Solid, with no wiggle in the blade, and nice scales that look good and feel good to hold. The blade shape sliced nicely. The initial feel and perception of it is similar to something you might see from other recently established (and deserving) import brands. I’m curious about Kubey and their designs (who designs them?) and I’ve purchased two others since. They’re consistent... so far.

So, I just opened this knife 10 minutes ago, so this is more of a first impressions.Fit and finish is good. No gaps in the backspacer. Clip side scale rides a little high on the liner, but not enough to feel in the hand. Hardware seems good.The blade came sharp. The whole cutting edge can slowly draw through paper. When closed, blade seems to slightly favor the presentation side. Lockup is solid, with no stick. Detent is pretty stiff, but not enough to be an issue.Action is smooth. Not fall shutty, but decent.I wear men's L/XL gloves, and this fits my hand snugly. My hands are thinner than some, so if you have larger hands, this could be a bit tight for you.Either tonight or tomorrow I'll be taking this thing apart for its initial cleaning and maintenance. I suspect that will clean up the action and blade centering. If it does, I'll update this to a 5 star, especially at this price point.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I own quite a few knives, and this one impressed me from the moment I took it out of its box.It has nice weight and size to it. The flip is smooth as butter and the blade is sharp. I'm going to be looking into other knives from Kubey. Maybe a fixed blade to go with this folding knife.Overall I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Unbelievably sharp. Excellent value.

I'm got the newer version of this knife and it's great the linerlock is good and it's mirror polish is really nice. It feels good in my hands and I have medium size hands , it's got great detent and centering is spot on! And really sharp.
