Total novice here. 👋 I'm giving my kitchen a makeover and decided this would make a nice backslash. I'm doing this project by myself so it's been challenging but man does it look good! You should definitely get a helper, I'm just stubborn. lol At first I didn't understand the 3cm overlap but you need it to match the pattern. If I was a techy person I would video the install but I'm sure YouTube will have a video on it. I purchased an install kit that was recommended somewhere whilst looking at this. It came with a soft edged scraper that is perfect for this! I haven't had any bubbling issues. If you take your time, muster up all your patience, and don't give up you'll end up with a gorgeous result. I am impressed with the stick factor, too. I took one piece off about 6 times and even crinkled it! But it went on smoothly with no visible crinkle. And make sure to order an extra roll. Better to be safe than wait to order more. This is my unsolicited honest review. Best if luck to everyone!

I bought a garage sale cabinet that had one side covered in stickers that wouldn’t come off. I thought about painting over them, then I saw this on Amazon. It went on quickly and easily and looks very nice. It was easy to reposition to line it up straight with the cabinet edges and there was no bubbling like regular wallpaper. I’ll tackle a bigger project now that I know how easy it is to use.

This product is priced right. It is a nicely patterned paper with good black and gold color. Removing and readjusting was fairly easy. I think when people struggle to match up the pattern it's because they are trying to butt an edge of one panel to the edge of another panel. Wallpaper panels must be overlapped. YouTube it and you will see. That said, I used this to cover shelves in my pantry. The look is stunning. However, this paper scratches easily so I wouldn't recommend it in high-traffic areas. Keep in mind woven wallpaper that takes paste is insanely expensive and requires lots of skill and patience. So this is a bargain on time and money.

When this first arrived, I thought it was going to be cheap-looking. However, I am pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. I was originally disappointed that the wallpaper has a little texture to it. However, the texture helps hide imperfections. The wallpaper was easy to cut and install. So far, it seems to be sticking to my stair risers. The lines on the back are very faint and were not too helpful in measuring and cutting. Though they sometimes acted as a useful guide to ensure the lines/measurements I made were even across the paper. Definitely recommend.

I read reviews and was aware of the reported issues. Decided to give it a try in hopes the improvements were real. Unfortunately, this wallpaper has many problems. It is thick enough not to tear, adheres easy enough and sticks well even after repositioning. However, its impossible to line up 2 pieces on a wall. The roll with 197” is not one continuous roll but 2 separate pieces to equal 197”. The pieces are not equal lengths and one of the pieces is not long enough for an 8 foot wall from ceiling to baseboard 93” so you only get one strip, floor to ceiling, per roll. The other piece is waste. The worst part is even though I ordered 3 rolls at the same time, the patterns are different sizes. It not detectable to the eye until you try to line them up every way possible...either end up or overlapping! We measured the pattern and they are not the same size. Maybe the paper was stretched differently during manufacturing? There are also small folds within the roll that do not come out on the wall. Either way, this paper is maddening and does not work as wallpaper. It may be fine for small projects but nothing more. It’s a shame because I really wanted this pattern :(I’m experienced with regular wallpaper and peel and stick wallpaper. I’m also crafty but this paper is a high waste of time!!

This wallpaper is super thin, and if you don't tear it off the adhesive back properly or too fast it will tear the wallpaper itself. Also when your smoothing it out with your hands it will leave a blackish residue from I'm guessing the ink that washes off easily.

This was hard because I am not smart not because the product is hard to work with.I "papered" the inside of a little hall closet. The walls are rough matte drywall in the way builders leave them. Perfect for this paper. I can see how a very smooth satin kind of paint may be more of a challenge for adhesion, but it wouldn't be impossible.One area of concern for you may be how very thin this stuff is. If you are looking to cover a dark pattern or color I think you should look elsewhere. Personally I usually hate working with a very thin material like this, but for reasons that have nothing to do with the manufacturer and everything to do with my poor planning skills I found the thin paper to be mercifully easy to cut when necessary.In the end the project came out nice despite my efforts to the contrary. Pretty pattern. Nice subtle colors. Pattern looks at least as nice as the product pictures, maybe better.

I added this to the back of a book case and loved how it came out. It was easy to put on and move around till I got it right. It was easy to match up the lines and the whole roll with a bit left over completed the project. I painted my cabinet white and the white in the paper matched so it is a true white, with gray design. It stuck well to the back of the cabinet which is cheap thin veneer I believe but it stuck to it and it's been on for about 3 months and so far is still sticking. We remodeled our kitchen & dining room and I painted everything that wasn't moving.

It’s very hard to put up, thick enough but be aware that rolls can come in different colour like mine, I ordered 2 of the same kind and they are different. Do not buy it.
