It's difficult to evaluate a battery without testing its performance for a period of time, but my observations so far are as follows:Build quality is comparable to OEM. I had no issues with installation or quality out of the box.I fully charged the battery and let it run down to approx 4% capacity three times to establish full capacity. Battery life in my ASUS Q551L is approx 4 hours with moderate power management; as good or better than the original battery.Seller was responsive and sent me an email a couple of days after delivery to insure that everything was going well with my purchase.All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase, especially at the seller's listed price. Should I experience issues going forward I will update my review as necessary. Note that installation tools are not included, and if you are unsure of how to open a laptop case and remove and replace components it's best left to a professional. For the Q551 series you will need a T5 bit, a couple of spudgers, and a very small phillips bit. I also highly recommend a ground strap.

I ordered a new battery a week or so ago. It was $37, definitely the lowest offer I found. When it arrived, one end of the connector piece did not fit properly onto the motherboard. Half of the copper pieces would be hovering above rather than reaching the board. In the photo, the top connector piece is the faulty one, the lower connector piece is part of my old battery.I returned the first and ordered another... only offer was $67 from the same supplier. Battery arrived the next day, fit perfectly, and has about 4 hours of battery life at 75% brightness.I assume the first battery had a known issue but they decided to sell it for half the price. Learned my lesson: Don’t be cheap for parts.

I have cycled the battery several times from full charge to almost empty, but the maximum charge according to the computer is 62%. It is only lasting about 2 hours, not much more than my old battery. I will be returning it.

The battery hooked up fine inside my laptop, but was a little oversized and needed trimmed back to get back of laptop cover to close properly. The battery charges as intended and keeps a decent charge. With exception of battery being a little thicker than original it was a good purchase.

The battery is made in China, but hey the original was from Japan and it went bad 2 months after owning it!The specs are exactly the same in power, and size to include physical dimensions.Connector is spot on, and screw holes align just perfect. Takes 3 mins to take the case apart, use the appropriate prying tool to slide the case open, not your finger, it’s aluminum and will slice your finger. (hint. hint) for this Asus Q551L

Been doing this along time and have never had an issue like this. 1. Tools they sent dont fit a damn thing on the motherboard or case. 2. The covering around the battery was so loose it got caught all around the battery compartment. 3. The wires from the new battery are so stiff upon closing the laptop back up the pressure on the wires made it pop the power port right off the motherbord completely ruining having a battery @ all now. Upset can not describe how I feel right now. I will be swnding the battery back and am contemplating contacting a lawyer to make them fix my laptop. I will never order anything from this manufacturer or vendor again. Buyer beware!!
