I enjoy writing in this notebook with fountain pens. The ink shows off well, little to no bleed through. The note book cover is tuff. I usually clip 1-2 pens off the front cover. This is my second 1951 notebook.

It works well with waterman, noodlers, iroshizuku, and Edelstein ink. I have used Extra fine, Fine, Broad, and medium nibs. They all work very well some of the ink dries slower but that is more the ink than the notebook. All in all I enjoy this notebook very much a smooth writing experience and plenty of space to write down anything you need.

Been a fan of Clairefontaine for years, and not just because it's wonderful with my fountain pens. I've found that it works just as well with gel pens like Inkjoy and Energel. This paper is like a little luxury and makes writing enjoyable.

My favorite ever journals. Love the cloth spine and textured cover- both add durability to a lightweight, extremely portable book. Pages are thick and smooth... not too thick, but i am able to write on both sides without “engraving “ the surface or ink leaking through, at least with the pens I’ve used.

The paper in the notebook is silky and a pleasure to write on. I am using this as a journal for a class I am taking. It’s just the right thing.

Good quality and fast shipping

I was looking for a fountain pen friendly journal that did not allow the ink to bleed through... I use very "wet" fountain pens... This is is, finally after going through dozens of different books. Highly recommended for fountain pens.

E' i livello successivo del classico quadernetto di appunti. La copertina è piacevole al tatto, i fogli sono molto lisci e perfetti per tutti i tipi di penne.

Sebbene si faccia riferimento esplicito a 10 pezzi, in realtà ne viene consegnato solo uno. Il quaderno in sé è eccellente, ma il prezzo è inaccettabile. Restituito. Servizio resi di Amazon come sempre impeccabile.

I love all Clairefontaine products. I'm so happy I've found them ... only wish it had been earlier in life. The smoothness of this high quality paper is unbelievable -- it's like touching silk. The words from the fountain pen flows like liquid, without shading, ghosting or anything -- no matter how wet the pen is.
