Waypoint Geographic Atlantic Globe

I bought this globe as a birthday gift for my wife. She loves the color and how easy it is to read. Everything is beautifully done.

The globe is strikingly attractive and the undersea topography is a wonderful addition. What impressed me the most, however, was customer service. The first globe arrived with a large dent. Waypoint asked me for a photo of the damage, which I emailed to them. They told me not to bother returning the dented item and shipped me a new globe at no additional expense. Highly recommend!

The Waypoint Atlantic Globe displays well on my desk because of the neutral beige color and the stained wood base. However, it is still just a plastic globe and maybe overpriced compared to other similar globes on the market. The political markings are up to date and accurate. The globe was well package (box inside box) and arrived at my home in Hawaii 2 days after order was placed.

I love this globe. Easy to read lettering and great graphics make this a great buy. I had just a little trouble getting the base on due to rough edges on the screw but a little WD40 took care of the problem/

Taiwan is not labeled as an individual country as it is on most political maps. It is instead given the same color code as China. I also noticed that the region of Tibet is not labeled as it is on other globes I’ve used. The lack of identification for these locations is unfortunate and I will be returning this globe.

Loved the globe. We had ordered another globe and had to send it back because of its poor quality. We ordered this one instead and love it. It is not raised but the wood base is very nice.

Gifted this to my grandmother across the country and it arrived damaged so looks like ill have to buy another one because they need it returned but she doesn't drive and I will not be around her place till Christmas..

Item was advertised as not having damage to the product but that the shipping container was being reused. Well, the globe has a dent off the Western coast of Africa extending onto the African continent. I am going to keep the item since the dent doesn't diminish its usefulness but certainly does not qualify as "having no damage." The globe was double boxed in a very substantial manner and I am convinced that the damage did not result in a shipping incident. The globe arrive with no dents in the boxes. This dent occurred before it was shipped.
