Q: Is the foot rest adjustable and removable?

It’s not adjustable but you do not have to add it if you don’t won’t it. The chair is a pretty great chair, I like it.

Q: Does anyone know how to attach the seat to the base? The directions said to just place it on top no screws to attach them together. Is that correct?

The little brown metal pin that is in the bag with the washers (and is no where in the “instructions” that I can see) goes into the hydraulic shaft (use a hammer, gently, cuz it doesn’t just slide into the holes, but it fits.) Then you line it up with the slot in the bottom of the seat when setting the seat on top of the base. This will help your chair swivel.
