The mixture has a noticeable but not overpowering scent. Applying the bleach was kinda tricky at first because once you cover a spot you can’t fix it no more. I primarily used this product for facial hair. I left the bleach on for the recommended 8-10 minutes but found it didn’t work since my hair is really dark so I left it for an extra 5 mins. The product was effective. After rinsing, the hair was lightened to a pale blonde, almost disappearing against my skin tone. It worked exactly as advertised, successfully bleaching even the thicker hairs. However, I did notice a slight tingling sensation during the process, which is to be expected with a product of this nature. My skin was a little red immediately after, but this subsided within an hour.Value & Conclusion:For its price, the Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bleach offers excellent value. A single box provides multiple applications, making it a very cost-effective solution for managing unwanted hair. It delivers on its promise of fast, effective bleaching. While the "extra strength" formula might be a bit intense for very sensitive skin, the instructions advise doing a patch test, which is a crucial step to avoid any severe irritation. This worked really well for me. I used it on my arms and legs. Kept it on for the full 10 minutes. No stinging, irritation or burning.

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now and really like how gentle it feels on my skin. It doesn’t burn or dry out my face like some other treatments do. The scent is mild, and the texture is smooth and easy to apply. I noticed a visible difference in my skin clarity within a few days — breakouts are less frequent, and my skin looks healthier.Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it takes consistent use to see results — not an overnight fix. This is a MUST if you have lighter skin paired with dark hair and want to make your arm hair less noticeable. I’ve been using this for years, and will continue to use it for a very long time. It’s affordable and effective. On my hair, it lasts ~3-4 weeks. I recommend testing on a small area of your skin first to see how long your skin can tolerate the bleach.The outside photo is before, and the indoor photo (with keyboard background) is after!

Great product. Does what it needs to which is lightening your hair. I have very sensitive pale skin with very dark body hair and it worked great on my arms and face. There is some itching/burning which I expected but I noticed it goes away after about 5 mins (during application) for me. Areas are a bit splotchy red after wiping product off as directed but it goes away and I don't get any irritation/bumps/pimples the next day which is great. Only dislike is that there isn't enough product to get many uses out of it.

I don’t recommend if you have sensitive skin. I would give this zero stars if I could. I bought this to lighten my brows a few shades to go with my recently bleached hair. My eyebrows are jet black, but I’ve bleached my eye brows before with no issue or skin irritation with regular hair bleach. I assumed because this product is specifically for the face and body that it wouldn’t burn the surrounding skin around my brows and leave me with discoloration. It only lightened the already light hair surrounding my brows and barely budged on my thicker brow hair despite me leaving it on for the max recommended time. I see some folks leaving comments about leaving it on for 15 mins - please patch test if you’re going to do that. I’m glad I only went with 10 mins or else my burns would be so much worse.This product doesn’t seem like it’s for those with thicker, dark hair, or evenly remotely sensitive skin. I was going to try this on my arm hairs as well but probably won’t if it’ll just leave me with burns.
