Heliopan 58mm UV SH-PMC Filter (705811) with specialty Schott glass in floating brass ring

This is an excellent quality precision made filter. I took several shots of blue sky and clouds and I am very happy with the reduced haze and more blue tone of the sky. Great filter.I am using this filter on my Canon EOS Rebel T1i, primarily for my  Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II SLR Lens . I have read reviews of other filters that had trouble getting a right fit. Some reported hoods not being able to stay on the lens, so I was a little concerned whether this would work because there were only 2 reviews here when I purchased this one. There was no need to be concerned. The filter fits perfectly and my  Canon EW-60C Lens Hood  slides over it and connects to my lens just fine. Lens cap fits fine also. The instructions with the lens tell how to pry down the bezel to fit some bayonet hoods, but I did not need to do any of this. This lens is exactly what I wanted: a quality filter that I could leave on my camera all the time for protection and also something that helps reduce glare and unwanted reflections. I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this filter.

You get what you pay for and this filter is my camera's eye to the world. This is an excellent balance between quality and price. Excellent finish, optics, precise & smooth threading, perfect fit,...I would buy it again in a second. 100% recommend.

I have never been disappointed with Heliopan's products although B+W are comparable and costs a little less. There is a difference between the multi-coated and the regular UV haze filters so buy what you can afford. I've noticed that the multi-coated version give image a little bit more vibrance in comparison when shooting outdoors although nothing you couldn't do in post.

Die aus Tests bekannten guten Qualitätskriterien sind für mich nicht messbar, aber nachvollziehbar (an Panasonic GH3).Trotz äußerst kompakter Maße sind die Riffelung von Verschraubung und Einstellring treffsicher zu handhaben.Sehr zufrieden bin ich sowohl mit der erzielbaren Farbsättigung als auch der Minderung von Reflexen.Beispiele:- gleißende Reflexe an Pflanzen (bei Gegenlicht) verschwinden und Blattoberflächen werden satt grün,- Fische werden darstellbar unter spiegelnden Wasseroberflächen,- Gesichter hinter Fensterscheiben sind, je nach Einstellung, mehr oder weniger, von sich spiegelnden Hintergründen selektierbar.- Besonders interessant ist die gute Reflexminimierung beim Fotografieren von Exponaten in Vitrinen (Ausstellungen, Museen).Experimentieren lohnt sich.Für meine Fotoausrüstung eine lohnende Ergänzung.

Der Filter hat eine hervorragende Qualität. Die Bilder sind klar, die Farben sind satt und unverfälscht.Ein wirklich erstklassiges Produkt, kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Ich habe mir diesen Filter für mein 28mm 2,8 IS USM von Canon gekauft. Die Verarbeitung ist des Filters macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Er ist einfach zum Aufschrauben und sitzt ordentlich fest. Ich habe Testaufnahmen mit und Ohne Filter vom selben Objekt gemacht, es waren praktisch keine Unterschiede zu sehen. Somit 5 Sterne.

Ca respire la qualité. Bague texturée très agréable. N'altère en rien la perception du piqué de l'objectif. Je recommande ce filtre.

zelo tanek, dobra kvaliteta - zadovoljen z nakupom. pri nas ga nisem zasledil, zato sem ga naročil tu. ne opazim pa kakšne bistvene razlike z Hoyo. mogoče občutek, da je ta boljši, ker drugi tako pravijo. hahaha
