AURORAE Classic/Printed Extra Thick and Long Yoga Mat. Slip Free Rosin included

I've had my Aurorae Yoga mat for three months, using it in class several times a week, mostly for Yoga and occasionally for Pilates. I love it! I'd ordered one for my daughter several months prior to ordering mine, after doing extensive research online and asking friends about their mats. My daughter affirmed the high rating these mat have received on Amazon - she loved her mat, as well - so I figured this would probably be a good mat for me.The longer length is great; I don't run out of mat the way other people with shorter mats do. Thickness is just right, providing good cushion for knees and wrists.Some reviewers have mentioned the fact that their mat becomes slippery during exercise. I haven't experienced that. I followed the directions on how to condition the mat when I got it, washing it with soap, rinsing, and allowing it to air dry. The instructions caution against using lotion prior to exercise and also that the feet should be clean and dry to reduce the amount of natural oils on the palms/bottoms of the feet. I haven't had problems with a slippery mat. The one time I felt the mat get a little sweaty was the time I'd put lotion on my feet prior to class, which is discouraged as the oil will cause the mat to become slippery. That's not the mat's fault - it would happen with any mat.Any imprints/indentions left by my feet/hands/knees spring right back - the mat looks as good as the day I received it. I feel it's a very good value for the price; I've seen many mats that cost quite a bit more than this one that don't look and feel as nice.I haven't had to contact Customer Service about any issues with my mat but have read some of the responses given to other buyers. The company's attention to their customers seems to be outstanding. They included an informative letter with the mat RE: care and conditioning of the mat as well as encouraging customers to contact the company with any questions or issues. A follow-up email from the company president did the same. Impressed with their attention to their customer after the sale.All in all I highly recommend this mat. Very glad I purchased it and would buy a second one from them in a heartbeat if I needed one.

I am very happy with this purchase. I am relatively new to yoga but have taken classes/used various mats. This one is definitely high quality. I read so many reviews about every yoga mat Amazon has and tried really hard to make the best overall decision, taking into consideration quality and price. Obviously a $15 yoga mat sounds awesome but it's just not going to hold up or work well. On the other hand, spending over $100 on a mat seems ridiculous (for me personally). This yoga mat is priced well for the quality it is. It also had pretty much the best rating overall. I read through some of the complaints other people had before buying it so I wanted to address those now that I own this mat. I saw a few other reviews saying it moved/stretched in downward dog. It really doesn't. I weigh less than 120 pounds, so I wondered if it stretches for people who weigh more, so I had my over 200 pound boyfriend do a yoga class on it and it didn't budge. My hands and feet don't slip at all EXCEPT towards the end of the class when I'm getting a little clammy, which can easily be fixed with a towel. Also I noticed that when you press with the end of your palms you may slip some but when you actually press down into your fingertips [like you're supposed to] you don't (so maybe some of those complaints are from improper form/usage). I was concerned about a strong smell when it arrived so once I un-packaged it I immediately pressed my nose against the mat and inhaled. There was virtually no smell, and I used it the same day it arrived. Also the mat provides proper cushioning. My house is entirely hardwood so I was very worried my knees would hurt but the mat really does provide support. After staying in table top for a really long time I may feel it some but it's not bad at all. The mat has a sort of memory foam quality about it which I personally like. It helps you grip and you can see where your hands and knees were briefly once you change positions which is pretty cool. Finally, if you're like me and have cats and dogs that join your yoga session, this mat holds up well to their claw marks. I try to keep my animals off it but they walk across occasionally- it happens- and there are not marks thus far, so I'm happy with that.Overall- I recommend this mat. It's high quality and gets the job done. Any issues with slipping hands can be fixed with keeping them dry and remembering to press down into your fingers NOT the heels of your hands (because who wouldn't slip like this?) and it's a very fair price for a mat that is quality and will hopefully last a while!

As a man, yoga isn't an activity you brag to your friends about doing, especially when you're married and doing yoga with your wife as opposed to a room full of women in skin tight pants who are grabbing a Starbucks before heading to Trader Joes afterward. Don't get me wrong, my wife wears yoga pants and shops at Trader Joes too, but the allure of yoga in our living room is bland compared to the allure of doing hot yoga with a bunch of ladies. Anyway, my knees aren't fond of the yoga videos we do from Youtube, especially when I'm on my yoga mat that is like a paper towel, and I'm not talking about one of those thick quilted ones with a lumberjack on the package. So my yoga-rifick wife, while wearing fancy and expensive yoga pants, decided to order this mat for me, as I've graduated into wearing capris and carrying my yoga mat around on my fixie while I sip on mineral water and eat organic fruits and veggies. I will admit, however, that this mat is much nicer that what I was using before. At 6'0" and 190 I'm a big guy, and this mat offers me the padding and protection that I want when I'm in Warrior One pose. It offers even more support when we go to crow, but now I'm just showing off about how good I am at yoga.So the real answer is that this is a great yoga mat. It is nice and thick, and I like that it is longer than my old mat. So, if you're a dude looking to impress the yogie next to you in class, grab this mat.

値段以上の良いものでした。ヨガマットは厚みもそうですが、密度も大切です。これは6ミリでもしっかりしており、ロゴも入って高級感もあります。色も落ち着いていい色で、買って正解でした。ただ在庫がなくなって追加できないのが残念です、

初めてヨガマットを購入しました。他商品との比較はできませんが・・・１．MADE　IN　TAIWAN　です。２．ロージンバックが付属しています。３．材質は記載ありませんが（マル秘？）シリコン、ラテックス、フタル酸が含有されていないと記載されています。４．生物分解性廃棄物と記載されています。総じて環境に配慮した材質という事でしょう。５．臭いは全くと言っていい程しません。６．色は綺麗です。パステル調のパープルという感じです。汚れ等はありませんでした。７．縦方向のサイズは183cmありました。174cmの私ですがこの位のサイズで丁度良いと思います。８．使用感は立位での運動は安定感がありますがひざに全体重を1点集中するような運動は床の堅さを拾い少々痛いです。マット厚は用途により変えた方が良いのかもしれません。持ち運びは考えていなくキャリーバック等は必要なかったので総じて満足のいく商品でした。

厚さも丁度良かったです。今度、ピィラティスのレッスンに持っていきます。色も落ち着いたブルーで良かったです。
