Great for shoulder pain
I use this for my shoulders at work. It doesn't really correct my posture, it pushes down when my postural issue is shoulders hunched *forward*. But it has alleviated my shoulder pain and that was the reason I got it. It's uncomfortable at first but you get used to it after a couple days. Make sure to take break days from using it so your body doesn't grow dependent on it.Solid build quality, has no noticeable wear after about a month of heavy use.

Causes More Pain (Doesn’t Stay in Place)
When it’s in place this helps. My PT showed me that it needs to stay down at the level of the t-spine in the back, not up at the c-spine. Well, I put it on at the correct level, but it *always* slides up, so it’s very rarely in place. I was excited about this one because it looked like it could withstand water. I was looking for something that would help keep my shoulder in place in general and while swimming, but since it doesn’t stay in place it doesn’t do the job of keeping my shoulders back (my daughter tried it to), so it doesn’t keep my shoulder in. It causes both of us more pain. We’re very different body types and this was the case for both of us.

Needed to be tweaked!
I bought this to relieve a shoulder problem I have when I sleep. The first problem I encountered was it was too big. I ordered the small, I am 5'5", 115 lbs. I had difficulty getting the straps secured since they were so long. Once in place, the straps dug into my arm pits. Rather than adhering the straps in the back, I looped the straps the opposite of the directions and then secured the straps underneath my breasts. One of the straps has to have a twist in order for the Velcro to adhere. It pulls my shoulders back, is comfortable, and has eliminated my pain when I sleep. In the short time I have been wearing it, I feel my posture has definitely improved and I don't have the pain at night when I sleep. I only wear it when I am at home and when I sleep. I am hoping within a month, I will no longer need it.

From slouching gremlin to standing tall
I didn’t realize how bad my posture had gotten until my kid drew a picture of me… hunched over like a little gremlin at the computer. That was my wake-up call. I bought this posture corrector thinking it would probably end up in the “random Amazon purchases” drawer, but it turned out to be a game changer. The first time I put it on, I could actually feel my shoulders pulling back and my chest opening up. At first it felt strange—like my body was arguing with me—but after a few days my muscles started remembering how to stand tall without it. I wear it for a couple hours at a time while working, and it’s been enough to break years of bad habits. Here’s the kicker: people started noticing. A coworker asked if I’d gotten taller. My spouse said I looked more confident. Even my neck pain has eased up. All that from a lightweight brace that disappears under a t-shirt.If you’re tired of slumping and secretly auditioning for the role of Quasimodo, this thing is worth every penny.

Has potential toDisappointment due to under arm pinching, digging and discomfort.
My husband tried, with and without my assistance in every way possible to make this thing work. While it has potential to assist in posture, the consistent under arm digging, pinching and and overall discomfort, made it impossible to wear. He tried so hard because he really needed it to work and was so hopeful, but ultimately found it to be an utter disappointment. So, I will continue the search for something that works as advertised but doesn't dig into his underarms so badly that it can't be worn longer than 4 - 6 hours. Sigh 😔

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Because of some problems with my left rotator cuff and upper back I was looking for something that would help me keep my posture up while I'm at the computer. I have a hard time remembering to hold my posture, so I thought this would be a good way to either hold me in place or, at least, remind me to pull my posture straight. This is comfortable and works beautifully, forcing me to keep my posture up. I don't have to think about it at all and my posture is perfect. I only just got it, so I don't know if it will actually train me to keep my posture up when I'm not wearing it, but I'm perfectly happy just wearing it while I work if not.The one, tiny thing that I'll mention is that, because of the rotator cuff issue, I couldn't adjust that side with it on the way it shows in the instructions. I ended up adjusting it off of me, putting the left side on first since that's the shoulder that doesn't rotate properly and ends up hurting, and then pulling it up on the right side. It took 3 or 4 attempts to get it adjusted to the right fit, but once I did it is fantastic. I just don't undo the straps and it stays right where it should be. Since this isn't a problem for most people and it doesn't affect how well it is working, I didn't take any stars off. If you have shoulder problems, though, keep in mind that you might have to fit it by trial and error or have someone give you a hand.
