I was looking for baskets and found this ensemble for less! I especially enjoy the silicone sling. All the pieces are good quality. Worth the money!

I have never used a banneton dough proofing basket before. It has been a while since I have baked bread of any kind. My favorite, of course, is the sourdough bread. It has a delicately sour taste that is a cut above. As a plus, I received an excellent eBook that not only has the sourdough starter recipe but is filled with many recipes. Cannot wait to try these.Once the 9” sourdough proofing basket arrived, I couldn’t wait to start making some impressive bread. The starter had been done in advance and was ready for the Artisan bread recipe. But first, I carefully followed the preparing and conditioning instructions in the booklet. Used the brush that came with it to loosen any possible wood particles and dust. Sprayed it lightly with water to moisten the banneton basket to make it easy for coating the bowl with flour. I covered the basket with regular flour. It is recommended to use rice flour though it seemed to work out fine.When the time came, I added dough to the basket for it to rise and get that beautiful round shape with the ring pattern from the basket. Nicely risen, I place it on the baking pan once it was ready for the oven, I had to be honest that I had expected it to stick and be a mess. But that was not the case. The dough slipped right out and on the pan in a perfectly beautiful round shape.Very much impressed with the quality of the proofing basket. Love the way the ratton cane looks and weaved in the basket.The basket order came with instructions, the basket, cleaning brush, scraper, bread lame, cloth liner, and an eBook filled with recipes. I am quite pleased with this order and plan on making some bread to share with family. Will recommend it for friends.

Quality product and fast shipping

As a beginner sourdough maker these are exactly what I needed. I was nervous I wasn’t going to buy the right thing but no need to look further. I didn’t use them much at first when I was baking regular artisan bread but when I picked up sourdough making I have used both of these multiple times a week! I keep reusing them but I think I’ll wash them after my next loaf. The scorer isn’t as sharp as a razor scorer but both hand scrapers are amazing and I use them every time I bake! These are just what you need like I said no need to look further if you are baking sourdough loaves it doesn’t get better then these!

Product was missing the bread sling. Other than that it was as expected.
