iSine 10 - Great Sound*
Sound:*If you have the lightning cable or use a heavy EQ with the 3.5mm cable. Using it with a standard 3.5mm isn't a great experience, it sounds like everything has been scrunched up into a ball and off sounding. Unfortunately this is how it's designed, it was designed to be corrected with EQ/DSP. Which is where the lightning cable comes in with a built in DAC and Amp + DSP.The built in Amp isn't the cleanest on my V1 cable anyway, with nothing playing you may hear some noise which is disappointing for something this expensive. Play anything and it'll go away but knowing that it's there... bit of a shame. I haven't got the V2 cable to try.Basing the sound with the lightning cable here are the things of note. Deep bass, punchy and not muddy at all at#s expected of a planar. Female vocals are very present to the point of being a bit too much for some people. Highs roll off pretty hard, they're still there at least. In general to me it sounds fun, not harsh at all thanks to the rolled off highs (i do wish there was a bit more highs though). Female vocals didn't bother me really. Even though they're open back they don't leak much so using it on a public transport is feasible. You'll have to really crank em loud for the person next to you to hear it.Build:Built pretty well, it's plastic but very solid plastic. Metal would be a bad idea for something of this size. The plastic hooks aren't the sturdiest and I've had 2 of them break on me so far. The cables are nice flat cables. I do have the V1 lightning cable which has the massive metal control box. The V2 is apparently less stupid. Box is nice, the case you get is also nice. Unfortunately the case insert is useless if you use the plastic hooks since it won't fit with those onComfort wasn't great for me with the included tips. After 30 or so minutes the inside of my ears started to hurt. I did switch to medium foam tips by inairs. The foam tips spread the weight much better. Your mileage may vary with comfort.Extra tidbits:- There is a bluetooth cable you can buy directly from Audeze so you can enjoy the "correct" sound on other devices without heavy self EQ. (ignoring w/e bluetooth does to the sound). Unfortunately there is no android app to update the firmware and set the EQ with. You'll still have to use an IOS device to do this.- You can't buy lets say the plastic clips on their own (same with the tips). Audeze bundles them so they always come together.Final Thoughts:Using it for a year and a half going onto 2 this September. It has been a pleasure to use. Sounds great if used with the lightning cable or heavily EQ'd with the 3.5mm jack. Works very well in public, sure it doesn't block sound like a traditional IEM but you can hear things around you and it doesn't leak much. Not having to take them out and/or pause the music to hear anything or talk is a real nice convenience. Feeling like I exist with these on is a real different experience. Looks is subjective, i personally don't think they make you look 100% stupid.

Best Earphones I have heard to date!
I currently own a pair of audio technical ATH M50's and Sennheiser HD700'S headphones and I decided to take the plunge and get these ISine 10 headphones. The first thing that struck me was when I listened to the audio how open and spacious the sound is between each instrument, I really appreciate it as the M50's didn't give that sense of spaciousness between the instruments, they are extremely clear. Sound really really great for their size nice and clear and loud with no distirtion, happy i got them now, very airy and open sound too, spacious between the instruments not all muddles together and clearTheir not bass heavy, nor do they sound neutral, they provide a full rich sound and super clear music without being piercing and creating hearing fatigue like my HD700s doI am only comparing the M50's to the Isine 10's because a lot of people have the M50's not that they're in the same price level or category of headphonesUpdate: I have been listening to these iem for the last few days and as I am walking nosw I am so happy I bought these, none of my other headphones can pull as much detail from songs like these can and their portability is extremely convenient. I was substituting bass for real clarity with the ATH M50s and I didnt realise it. I feel as they do lift the cover off the songs I listen to. Drums sounds extremely realistic with their thuds, claps sounds like claps for example in Queens we will rock you compared to lesser headphones which they do not and sound like general noises and that spacious soundstage all come together to create a listeners dream. It is magnificient with Audeze did, I can only imagine what these sound like hooked up to a chord mojo because they sound incredible coming straight from my Galaxy S5. I would defineltely recommend these. In my experience the sound leakage is very minimal and is difficult for others to hear what you are listening to, especially on a bus, I find it to be an advantage as people can talk to me with them on me, without taking them off. I would definetely recommend the ISine 10s, could only imagine what the 20s are like...Songs I would recommend listening to demonstrate these Isines 10's magical way of extracting the finer and best details of music would be Florence and the machines Queen of Peace and dog days over(plucks of the harp stings) and Florences Never Let Me Go sounds so heavingly and out of the world , Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal which sounds incredible and Queens Bohemian Rhapsody which gives me the shivers when they all scream up to a creschendo, so real and clear and that soundstage! Elvis songs like Suspicious minds and Roy Orbinsons songs are a treat to hear on these! The Isine 10's are very addictive, it is very hard to take them off their that good, I am listening to all my songs again! You have to admire Audeze for what they achieved by putting this planar magnetic technology into a truly portable form and also achieving insane wide soundstage and sound quality in general. Well done Audeze! The best way to describe these headphones is your own personal orchestra that you can bring anywhere you want, the seperation of each instruments and the clarity is truly remarkable for iems. These are so good that they are my main headphones/ iems/ iehs now and I always have them in including now.

When you expect the best, but get better instead.
They know what they do. They have this kind of arrogance to them. You play a song, you trust that nothing will be out of place. It's all there, it's all represented. Whenever I find a new multi layered track, it gets put to these. These are the ringer, I test every song and every new headphone against these and while some may sound more dynamic or exciting they just don't ever BEAT these. My only reason for a four star review is comfort wise I found the ear clips can pinch slightly after extensive use. I start off not even aware I have them in, but eventually it can get distracting.

Great sound for the money
Tested these v my Shure 425's and there is no comparison. The Audeze have a depth and soundscape that really engages from Pop to Jazz to Metal and Opera. Through my Chord Mojo they sound even better. Note the cipher lead is not included in this particular package and will buy when available in the UK or direct from the US to try their DAC via mobile and Hi Res performance. Overall comfort is not 100% for listening for long periods, but happy to sacrifice that for the gorgeous hi end sound.

Cipher cable stopped working after 5 seconds
Sound is good when connected to an Astell&Kern AK300, although I'm still playing with equalizer settings to optimize the sound with the standard audio cable. I was very much looking forward to trying these earphones with my iPod touch. In fact, the sound seemed quite good when I connected them via the included Cipher cable, but only for a few seconds; the earphones stopped working and I thought I had pressed the wrong button. But in fact the Audeze apps tells me that "No cable" is connected. So it looks like the Cipher cable only lasted about 5 seconds.Much has been written about the comfort of these earphones (or lack thereof); I actually find them quite comfortable.
