SCOSCHE HA1561DGB Single/Double DIN Car Stereo Dash Kit for 2006-UP Honda Civic

Got a new head unit for my daughter’s ‘09 Civic and needed a new dash panel to mount it. This dash panel worked perfectly. Fits well with no gaps and evenly lines up with the other panels. The color match is perfect. I can’t tell any difference. It was easy to install and seems to be well made. No issues with cracking and the clips snapped in just fine.My only two complaints are the plastic mounts for the head unit; I wish they were metal but given the unit is fairly light it didn’t present a problem and I won’t knock any stars off for that, just be aware if you may be attaching one of those digital amps that mount to the back of the head unit it might add weight and stress them more.The other complaint is that the dash leans back a little and causes occasional glare on the touch screen. I think that’s more a manufacturer’s design issue and this dash did the best it could without making a bulky shape that looks out of place. I can’t take off a star for that either.Overall very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. I’ve posted a picture of the finished product.

WOW. This is the best dash kit for the Honda civic Si 2009. I was so worried when i got my radio installed i couldn't see any of my screen.I was so disappointed because i got it professionally installed and the glare was horrible. Even worse i couldn't change the dial it didn't have room for my fingers. Then i realized it wasn't my radio that was bad (Sony Xav-Ax100) but instead it was the dash kit. I found out they had installed the metra dash kit. Which was so bad color was fine but the fit was terrible it was angled to the sky could barley see my screen. So i looked it up online got the Scosche dash kit and WOW what a difference i haven't been more happier. I can use my volume knob and best of all NO more horrible glare my screen looks amazing RECOMMEND best kit for civic. And i originally wanted oem but was way to expensive. Ordered this kit the price was great, installed myself (extremely easy) and i couldn't be more happy! I also uploaded some pictures from the metra kit( was terrible) compared to the Scosche kit! By the way i was using the metra kit with a sun visor that's how bad the angle was compared to Scosche also uploaded picture. By the way the fit was fine screws seemed little hard to put in at first but i was careful nothing cracked, and i did also have to sand the ac buttons on the bottom right as well as little bit of knobs but no biggy after doing that fit perfect and didn't get stuck.

I was looking around for a good harness & this one is great for the price. I have a 2007 civic coupe & this was the perfect fit.I have the Sony DSXB700 Bluetooth receiver & it was a great fit. No issues installing. I watched YouTube videos to help install it, but tbh you really do not need it with how easy it is to unscrew everything and put it back together. It is a little off color but you really don’t notice.I have had this for over 6 months now and I have no complaints.

Had the Metra kit before and I always thought it looked wonky. And then after not even 30 days the bottom right clip broke. First impressions with the schosche is the color match is way better. And the screen fit way better in this kit. Quality feels nicer and seemed to clip in smoother. Time will tell if this performs better than the Metra.

Pro's - Overall a more detailed, better looking product. Thicker, higher quality Plastic (metra warped after 3 weeks), direct fit. Sets screen about .5" more forward for a much better viewing angle, CD/NAV Holder is stronger (one piece vs 2), leaves more space for wiring in the back, clips included. Scosche shipping on super saver=2 days and here.Cons - Edges need to be finely sanded for factory looking finish, paint is not exact color match, little tight by the Max A/C button. Flipping the clips on the far right sides makes for a better lock-in fit.Overall - Very Easy installation due to the spacious room behind unit, looks and feels much more natural and factory than the Metra kit. The viewing angle and setback on screen are abso perfect now. Spend the Extra.

Echoing some feedback others have mentioned:+ Grey was slightly darker, but I don't notice much since is a control center anyhow.+ Screw holes did crack a bit, but none of mine flat out broke as others have experienced. The pre-heating trick sounds wise.+ The bottom right two buttons between the dials did stick, no matter how I screwed things in. I used sandpaper to carefully remove a small lip just inside the button frame of this kit. Sanding that down took a couple of minutes, then everything fit perfectly. I think this product has some variances.+ I snapped the receiver bezel in first before installing the receiver to assure I had it in the right place front-to-back. Comes with the arms and option to go single-din.+ I did not get any screws in my kit. Checked all over in case they were taped onto one of the pieces. Was odd. I just used the originals and they fit just fine, albeit with the cracking, white flexing of the plastic.Overall, this was a nice kit, and not too expensive for a niche part.

Bought this for my 2009 honda civic. Inserted a Sony touch screen to it. Everything clipped nicely. Color matches my original dash color, looks like it came stock with the car. Easy install with a YouTube video
