Excellent Watch! Hamilton Khaki King Pilot Black Dial/PVD
This was shipped from Amazon in good time well before the holiday. The process was smooth, shipping fast, and the product is absolutley stunning. The packaging and schwag that came with it including the box are on par for a watch of this caliber from Hamilton. I am happy with the price I paid as well. In summary, this Hamilton Pilot in my opinion is by far the best pilot styled watch out there for the money. While the dial has lume only on the hash marks of the minute markers and large hands, the reflective numerals are actually a very clever alternative. They reflect even the lowest light as well, making this watch look even better from a distance and the readability great even in low light. The PVD finish on the version I have is exceptional and the watch keeps time well under 5 seconds per day (it's almost perfect). The 200m water resistance trumps other watches of this type as well and the screw down crown operates better than watches I've owned at twice the price. I've heard of issues with the OEM strap it came with, but I have experienced none yet. I am glad I took the plunge on this one and I highly recommend the Hamilton pilot...

20% Restocking Fee !!! Be careful !!!
I ordered this watch and indeed it is a beautiful watch but wasn't exactly the design I had hoped for and the look wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I buy from Amazon because the service shipping and return policy is so perfect and accommodating. However when I returned this watch a 20% "re-stocking" fee was applied by this secondary vendor. I'm sure the 20% policy is somewhere on the product description but it certainly is not obvious. Another reason to only buy "PRIME" listed products and to avoid secondary vendors on Amazon. I have purchased 1000s of items on Amazon and returned only infrequently but never have had a "20% re-stocking fee" !!! So the product is good [5 stars]. But this policy is awful and should not be allowed on Amazon in my opinion.[1 star] So my lesson learned for $120. And I am certainly glad I did not buy a more expensive watch from them!

Excellent watch
I bought this from Amazon (not third party or fulfilled by Amazon) and it arrived on time. Opened the box and saw a beautiful watch ... the picture doesn't do it justice. The black PVD coating is smooth and depending on the light it can be glossy/matte. I love the all black with a hint of silver on the numbers.Set up was relatively easy once I understood I had to turn the crown a few times to get the watch starting (at first I thought it was defective, excuse my inexperience with automatic watches :) The day window actually has 2 for each day (e.g. Thu, Thu, Fri, Fri, and so on) as opposed to the date window where it's just like any other watch (e.g. 20, 21, 22, 23 etc). Apparently that's how you set up the day to differentiate whether it's AM/PM.I love the leather band on this watch ... it's thick and feels solid. I'm used to rubber and my current watch is steel, but I find myself wanting to put on this watch even at home. The leather feels good and doesn't bother me like steel does. Some people complain it seems fragile, in my opinion, it's actually a bit stiff [at first], though after 3 days it's starting to feel better and easier to put on/off. After being worn for about a week the marks on the leather just makes it that more beautiful. The contrast stitching and 2 studs on each end of the bands (closer to the watch) makes this, in my opinion, the best version of this watch as offered by Hamilton.Overall it's a very nice watch. I own a Tissot, Omega, Tag, etc. and I keep coming back to this watch. A quality product from Hamilton offered through Amazon.com

So far so good.
I have only had the black/black king pilot for a week or so, but I LOVE IT! As other reviewers have mentioned, the strap does take some time to break in, but once it does, bingo! A fine looking wristwatch with a little flare at a very reasonable price (given the automatic movement). I was looking for a big watch and I got it... At 6'2" and 215 lbs it looks good on my wrist... I am not convinced smaller men would feel the same way.

This watch is lovely! The crystal is very durable and I've been surprised every time I brush it against something or drop it that it's not scratched. I've had this watch a couple of years and it's still works good. I took off a point because it's supposed to stay ticking for an 24 hours after you take it off, but often it doesn't and the buckle clamp was defective and wouldn't securely close, so I had to order another from Hamilton. You can't take it to Hamilton to fix it, because you bought it from a third party. I get compliments all the time on this watch though😊

This watch is being repaired for the second time since it has been purchased. This time the turnaround for the repair is expected to take TWO months. I find this unacceptable. Buyers beware!

Absolutely Gorgeous
Absolutely gorgeous watch. Hamilton watches Hamilton is one of the best values for a Swiss made automatic watch. Although the band is not a hit with me.

Hamilton King Pilot watch
This watch looks exactly as pictured and that pleases me and attracts attention. I like it and recommend it. I have a minor concern which is the leather band does show signs of wear after a month or so of wear. I must admit however that I wear it through quite a bit of exercising subjecting the watch to a lot of perspiration. I'd buy it again but select a rubber band if one was available.
