Moxibustion Stick Burner Holder, Portable Healing Box, Wooden Gourd Device Massage Burner Roll Healing Tool

I bought this so I could use the short end of the smoke less moxa, as it got too hot to hold. I can see how this would be good for full sized, if you were going to burn the whole stick, but the shortness of the end made it hard to know how close to the screen it was positioned. It worked well, until the ash started to build up, muffling the heat. I had to keep taking the rubber end off, to knock the ash away, to keep using it. I just left it off, after a while, which is why, when the end got too small, and the springs sprung closed, the hot coal bounced off my leg and then melted a round spot in my carpet, before I could get tweezers to pick it up. Side note that the long tweezers were right next to me as I had been using them to scrape the ash off. I thought this would be a better use then the more expensive coil, option, but that would have allowed me to tap the ash. Also, the handle falls off pretty easily, which makes you prone to more burns and mess, as the ash caught in the screen sifts through.

A regular moxa stick would be too thick for it. when I try to put it in, the thongs inside will extinguish it. I guess for thinner moxa sticks maybe works better, or for smokeless moxa. the wooden handle comes off pretty easily. It just didnt work for me
