Great Pants
I use these for traveling. The pants are lightweight and have plenty of pockets, some nicely zipped to foil pickpockets. The pockets on the front of the thighs are a perfect size for passports or a thin wallet, The side pockets work well for my phone. These pants are easy to wash in a hotel room and usually dry overnight. Loose, cool and comfy without being baggy, they come with their own plastic buckled belt which is great for going through airport security.

Cool, flexible work pants.
Fantastic outdoor work pants! I do hot outdoor work all summer and these flexible, cool pants kept me comfortable all day whether I was shoveling, sorting through rocks on the ground or pumping water from the creek. These pants are lightweight, moisture wicking and also shed water when splashed. An easy choice if you have tough outdoor work to do!

Good value. Fits well.
**LONG TERM UPDATE** I have purchased 4 pairs of these pants over the past few years. I read a lot of poor reviews for these pants because it appears the buyer purchased the wrong type of pants for their clothing needs. These are excellent pants if you are looking for the following: 1. A comfortable, lightweight, nylon spandex pair of pants. These are a form fitting stretchy type of pants true to size. Measure your inseam correctly. If you are a 32 inch inseam and you buy the 34 inch inseam the pants will feel and appear too baggy and loose. Set your ego aside when you measure your waist. 2. Your intended use of the pants is for activities such as hiking, light duty work jobs, travelling, or casual use. If you purchase these pants for activities that require "loading up" the pockets with heavy items or objects such screwdrivers, tools, etc. then these are not the right pants. 3. There are probably better pants for backpacking and off-grid camping. For onsite camping and glamping these pants will do just fine. 4. Lightweight waterproof quick dry means just that. These are not cold weather pants. 5. The belts the pants come with have improved significantly since I first purchased a pair 4 years ago. They are sturdy and rugged enough to support a couple clip on objects such as a phone and hunting knife. These are not good belts for tools. 6. These are not stain resistant. So if your intended use is for light duty work and casual use the stains from work will not go away when you wear them out for non-work activities. ******************************************** I have been purchasing Free Soldier short and pants for a number of years now. They fit true to size and are very comfortable to work or play in. The only problem I have with all of their shorts and pants are the belts that come with the pants (or shorts). They are not very durable and often break apart. The quick dry water wicking material also lasts about a year with regular washings. Good value for the price.

Great pants and a great value!
These pants are even better than expected! I've been wearing them weekly now, under all sorts of weather conditions, for the past couple of months. I was looking for a lightweight, stretchable, waterproof and breathable pair of pants. Those are the qualities that were advertised, and at the price offered they'd be a bargain if they delivered, and they have big time! The sizing was spot on, and for the price, they can't be beat. I'm especially impressed with the little details that went into the design, such as the internally mesh lined cargo and front pockets, as well as the heavy duty fabric loop which connects the button to the pants. The same goes for the heavy duty and extra wide belt loops, and their placement. I wear my keys on a carabiner attached to the front beltloop. With these pants, the belt loops are further off center than belt loops found on most pairs of pants. It's a much smarter location, so your keys don't go smackin you in the nads inadvertently. Another major bonus is the location of the cargo pockets, which are located more towards the front of the thighs, than on the side of the legs as with most cargo pants. This location seems to make the contents of the pockets stand out less, and therefor less bulky and apt to bump into stuff as they would if the they were located on the sides. The zipper closures on the cargo pockets are also superior to the standard velcro closures you find on most cargo pants. And the pockets are roomy enough to fit my cell phone, smokes, or my wallet, no problem. The pants are very water resistant, and airy. They're a great deal, and i would not hesitate to buy another pair when and if this pair wears out. My five star rating applies to company just as much to the pants themselves. I had issues with another product I purchased from Free Soldier, and the company was very easy to deal with to make things right! These pants are the third product I've purchased from Free Soldier(these pants, boots, and a pair of fleece lined snow pants), and I am more than happy with the products and the company itself, a well-deserved 5 stars all around.

Absolutely Perfect Tactical/Outdoor Pants – Comfort, Fit, and Great Pockets!
I am so impressed with these pants—they immediately earned a five-star rating! I've been actively trying to get back into shape, and finding clothes that truly fit and move with you is essential. These deliver completely. Comfort, Fit, and Stretch: I ordered my usual size, and the fit is spot-on. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the package. The stretch is fantastic, providing full mobility without ever feeling restrictive, whether I'm active outdoors or just wearing them around. They don't bind, and the quality of the fabric is great for all-day wear. The Pockets are a Game Changer: I have to call out the pockets—they are deep and generously sized, easily holding my phone and wallet without feeling bulky or risking them falling out. A Quick Tip on the Zippers: For anyone else ordering, just a heads-up: the zippers for the main cargo pockets are cleverly tucked under a small flap/lip of fabric. I almost thought my pockets were stitched closed for a minute! Once you know to look for it, it’s a non-issue, and it actually helps keep the pockets streamlined. I took a photo to show where they are. I really like the color (I got what was ordered). The pants are extremely lightweight and the material doesn't feel thick but not too thin either. It's about 50 degrees outside right now and these are perfect. If you're looking for durable, comfortable, and functional pants, these are highly recommended. A total win!

Great summer pants
I’ve happily used these for hiking, lawn mowing, and lounging around the house. I have positive feelings about their functionality. I don’t see any damage from sticks or anything yet; not even holes from my cat’s claws. I find my flexibility and range of movement to be good, and I don’t find any of the seams uncomfortable. The pants are super light, and the mesh in the pockets (shown in pic) help to vent heat and moisture. I got caught out in a rainstorm and absolutely drenched, but unlike my jacket, these pants didn’t hold water and stick to my skin, and they dried very fast. They block the sun better than sunscreen; no weird sunburns or plant oil rashes. These are pretty great on long drives too; I bet they would be especially handy on plane rides and travel in general. They are a win in the looks department for me, too. I like that they don’t look baggy like cargo pants, but they do have cargo pockets. They were easy to hand wash and get looking like new, and in general they don’t seem to hold wrinkles (if you stand straight, they hang straight). I’m 6’ 2” and have fairly long legs; the size I got has a little bit of a break and a good inseam, so they bag up a bit around my ankles, but I prefer that because I don’t like when sitting down causes pants to lift and reveal my ankles and socks. A con I will mention: if you’re looking at my photo, you can see where my kneecap is (between my fingers), and the bottom seam for the cargo pocket is right above that. Because the pocket is so low, it’s awkward for carrying heavy or hard things that might bang against my leg. Overall, I’m very happy with these, and will probably wear them whenever I can get away with it. I wrote a much longer and more detailed review, but I don’t know why it wasn’t approved, so I kept it to the point this time 🤷♂️ Update Jan 2023: These basically still look like new. No cat claw punctures, no stains, no problems. I wear them in the winter too, over some thermal leggings or jogger pants, at which point they’re warmer as a combo than denim. I wish they just didn’t bother with the cargo pockets, because then I could get away with wearing these business casual too, because they otherwise look like khakis, and their wrinkle relaxing nature is perfect for travel. They are light for packing in a bag too. An essential part of my wardrobe.

Big loose back pockests
I like these pants. Wish they made then in a slim fit though and made the back pocket more secure. The back pockets are kind of loose and big. That is the only reason I gave them a three. When needed I will buy again.

Very comfortable pants.
These pants are outstanding. I first just bought one pair after I felt how comfortable they were. I proceeded to buy 3 more of the colors. Very comfortable, very durable, and easy to care for. They're very light, perfect for travel in hot, humid temperatures. Im very happy to have found these pants.
