T-34

Okay so let me start off by saying that I extremely enjoyed this movie !! I first watched it over a friends on Amazon Prime streaming. I liked it so much that I felt like it was worth getting the Blu-Ray release. But after watching it on Amazon Prime & watching the Blu-ray did anybody else happen to notice that the quick 25 seconds gas station scene when the T-34 rolls up to refuel and the gas station attendant has a priceless look on his face as he removes a nazi flag off the counter top, was not present on the Bluray? But I know for a fact I saw this scene when I watched the movie on Prime ? Because I remember cracking a smile. Just curious if it's an error or if this 25 second scene was removed for some reason for the home release? Just seems odd. Also a slow motion scene was altered I noticed, during the prison / training ground escape segment. When the T34 Tank shoots the tower and you see a German solider about to take the shell round to the face before it cuts away. This was also not present on the blu-ray?Minor gripes I guess the movie still is very well done ! I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? The gas station scene really feels like it's missing !! It was one of the few comical moments !Closing If you enjoy WW2 tank movies I'd highly recommend you give this one a watch !

Actually....it's ten times better than Fury! Buy it! You won't regret it. Also watch it in the original Russian language. The German actors aren't dubbed either, but speak their native tongue. It's gives everything an even more authentic feeling.The tank battles are epic, the characters well developed, the music score superb. There's too many excellent things to list. Just watch the movie. It is free on Amazon Prime, but they ruined the languages. You won't regret buying a hard copy of this movie.

One of my favorite tank movies of all Time. With subtitles it’s even better. You get drawn in with the first scene. And from there it’s a ride and or die journey to the end. The cinematic experience is very appealing to the story line which is gripping and emotional at times with a few twists to keep you guessing. I didn’t find myself trying to figure out the story line or make sense of any change in direction. It was clear but not to predictable. The star of the movie is the battle between tank on tank which there are many of them each one building to the final one which is well worth the effort you have given in your hopes for victory by your hero. Who you support will test your resolve for mankind and all his faults. Until that final shot is sent into your foe’s hart. Will you make that shot or have to defend against it, how will it end. Who will really survive in the end. These questions and many more will be answered, do you speak the Dutch. lol. Mojo.

This film is in Russian with some German but you can turn on subtitles. Which seem pretty accurate. Nazi Germany invaded Russia and killed 27 million people, many civilians. Hitler expected to defeat Russia in 3-4 months. So this movie is a reenactment of the improbably loser, Russia, winning in the end.The arrogance of the German officer was on full display, but the determination of the Russian tank commander and his ability to inspire his crew, still captures how the Soviet Union, was able to overcome the odds against it. even though they were all prisoners in a POW camp.It's not stated whether this story is true or not, but even if it's fiction, it will still inspire those who believe in freedom. As the soldiers shouted (in Russia) once they had escaped the camp, defying the long odds against them, Svoboda.....Freedom.There is also a love story which helps to fill out the feeling in the movie. The translator, also a prisoner and 'expendable' according to the Nazi commander, a beautiful woman, was instrumental in the escape.Basically, if you think the Nazis were the bad guys, this film will make you smile. The good guys won. Despite the odds stacked against them...One subtle lesson for Westerners. Don't even think about starting a war with Russia.

Great movie if you like adventure, twists, good characterizations, drama, WWII and good cinematography. Very recommended.

It is good to see WWII through the eyes of the Russians fighting to save their country. It seems that a few people had trouble seeing the subtitles as I did but it took me and my wife a few minutes on the remote of the tv to find the right setting for subtitles to work. People are basically the same we fight for our country and give our lives for it. Just seeing the T-34 tank and understand the way that some were taught to use them in battle is some what as we were in the Bradley Tanks very under matched to the Tiger Panthers of Germany but with help we over came there fire power and Patton was a man they feared and wanted to know where he was and why they saw him as a superior General in the American Army. Could have been there downfall as it happens in History that fear is the biggest threat and weapon. Just a thought.

A tough look at a side of WWII that does not get the coverage it deserves: the Eastern Front.

Its a good film with its CGI and uniform design sets, the slow mo parts are very nice, there is a lot of unrealistic tank moments.the travel speed the ''Bounce off" parts with germans refusing to fire back and just die with there tactics and it just leaves me to believe this is just a russian propaganda film showing how "Perfect'' the russian tank forces fight, but besides the bad usa voice acting is ( i rather just have normal russian voices with subtitles) the action felt great the plot was simple and thats fine i wish there was a bit more background story to show how "great'' the commander is and why he is so dang smart but all they say that made me scoff was ''i did good ussr school'' besides all that i still enjoyed the film and it was fun with its slowmo action shots
