So close to 5 stars! Great powder for poc. Very matte finish. Use minimally or the matte can be too much. I mix it with a lighter translucent powder to get the perfect match. I’m naturally oily. Minimal shine by the end of day. But yes, shine. Powder does not easily wipe off, so feel confident hugging someone with a white shirt. Tone is a bit warm. Which is good for some.

This powder matches my skin perfectly and keeps a matte finish on my face all day. This is my second purchase from Amazon!

I had bought this Black Opal deluxe finishing powder from the Black Opal website but I had ordered it in the shade "medium" which was a little too light for my skin tone. So, I bought the shade "dark" from this site and let me tell you.....it is AMAZING!!!! This will be apart of my makeup application/routine every time I want to create a makeup look! I use it to set the certain areas of my face (under my cheekbone area, my forehead and temple). I have oily skin and I do not have to worry about it being oily at any point during the day. I really like this finishing powder and it's great for oily skin!!! It's also has enough product in the container to last for quite a long time so no worries about running low unless you like to apply pounds of product, LOL! Overall, great product!!!

I like this. I've had the "Dark" version for a couple of years (in the old packaging). I bought this one in "Deep" (which is the darkest). The color is very, very similar to the "Dark" version though (too much so). I hoped it would be a bit darker. Since I use finishing powder very, very lightly for a full-face dust, it's not a huge deal. Definitely gives me a nice finish after my Hourglass setting powder. I'm an N10-Milk Chocolate in Loreal True Match and a 445 in Fenty Foundation, for reference.

The best finishing powder I have ever used. It gives me that glow and a smooth velvety looking skin on pictures. Love it !

WOW. this powder keeps me matte. it goes over all my foundations so nicely and really smoothly. i like using it for setting my under eye area and nose. such a great buy works just as well as laura mercier for a THIRD of the price.
