StemCAPtain Black Clock/Black Base Headset Top Cap

I’m also here because of Berm Peak Express review. This looks so awesome on my bike. I have a bike computer that also tells time in digital format. But there is nothing like having a clock to coordinate you’re time better. It allows you gage your time on the bike rather then just tell you the time like a digital clock does. It’s not a must have. But it sure looks damn good on you’re bike

Very good idea and good stem fit. Clock keeps accurate time. I'd give it a five but the set screw came out inadvertently and I could not find it on the garage floor. I used another small screw. Then one day riding the screw backed up a bit and the watch flew off the bike. I recovered it OK and used some KT tape skin spray to tack up the bottom before resetting it into the base. Stays put now. So I'd suggest being VERY careful with that set screw, and spraying the back of the watch with something tacky or sticky to insure a tighter and longer lasting seat.

I installed this on my Radwagon for no reason other than it looks good! I'll admit it!It installs easily, and just adds a nice visual element to your bike.I mean...it's a quartz watch in a stem cap. Easy to set, and does a fine job of telling time. But let's be honest. That's not why you're looking at this product.

time is always in front of you. easy to install. You do however need a jeweler's torx screwdriver to tighten the set screw (if you have that model). Make sure you have the setscrew. Mine was loose in the plastic bag and is easy to overlook. Other than that it was a 3 minute install and now I know the time without wearing a watch.

This stem cap is too awesome. I get compliments on it all the time, and I leave my wrist watch at home when I ride the bike it is attached to. If your headset gets loose on the road/trail and you don't have the 1mm Allen Wrench needed to take the watch face off of the stem cap to see the guts below, you will not be able to tighten your headset. I had to get some different steer tube spacers to get the lower part of the StemCAPtain to fit properly. Others might not encounter this problem.

Great product which meets a need. I commute on my bicycle to the ferry, and was constantly stressing over the time for fear of missing the ferry. I did not want to stop and take my phone out to check the time. This clock provides a great way to keep an eye on the time while still keeping an eye on the road.

the watch fell off and got lost before even making it to the trail head. it needs a retaining screw to prevent the watch from popping out of the housing.

Very handy. Nice to know the time.
