Absolutely Great!
The media could not be loaded. Great hitch, please note that on our particular fifth wheel, we had to drill 2 big holes with a hole saw to get the front two bolts through. Thought I could reach my arm into the compartment to hold a wrench on the top of the bolts but couldn’t get my arm in there near far enough. The hitch comes with plastic plugs for the holes you have to drill. I don’t think there’s a way around that. So have a hole saw ready, and take note what size hole saw they recommend in the instructions (I can’t remember) but it’s big enough for a wrench to fit through. We only cut a hole big enough for the washer and bolt but then couldn’t get the wrench in. Also we cut the front two holes and could then send the wrench through the front holes to the rear bolts to hold them! So only needed to cut two holes, not four. The hitch is built great and heavy! That being said it doesn’t sit on the ball like a normal goose neck hitch. It’s a shallow hitch, so you can see where the taper of the ball meets the shaft on your goose neck ball while the fifth wheel adapter is on and connected. Looks weird but we latched it and lifted the truck off the springs with the trailer jacks and it didn’t unlatch!Over all it’s a great product! Not a cheap china product whatsoever! I don’t think it’s advertised as USA but it looks every bit of a USA product! 🇺🇸I have a obs f350 4x4 and I had the hitch all the way in, so no spacers used. And the fifth wheel sat almost exactly how I like it to! So if you have my same truck you could use their non adjustable 12” hitch and have one that’s maybe a little more permanent. On that topic if you are going to use this often I would set the depth that works for your truck and trailer and drill 1/2” hole and throw a grade-a bolt or pin through it just for good measure. I know gooseneck/fifth wheels are made so the weight of the trailer holds the trailer on the hitch but I prefer to have more that just that.Buy it! It’s great!

Great option full kit
Had everything needed in the kit including bolts. Note you are going to be required to drill large holes in your existing pin box. So make sure you have a good drill, really good drill bits and some cutting oil. The metal is thick.

Worked fantastic with some modifications
First, the gooseneck 17" adapter was the right size for a F150 towing a Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 ft trailer which has a ride dampening system on the pin box. Important to note is that the dampening system is exactly where the pre-drilled holes in the top plate are located and there are other shock absorbers on the pin box that need to be located before drilling four new holes. Second, if you do need to drill new holes have extra drill bits! I broke 1 step up bit and completely dulled a 3/4" bit before finishing. I did remove the pin box plate to drill down not up and it does take 2 people to do a good job (and for appreciation of cursing}My rating of the project completion will disregard my needing to go back into town to get new drill bit and drilling 4 extra holes because I did not locate the shock absorbers or notice that I could not get the bolt all the way in because of the dampening system.

Now it feels just like my gooseneck trailer
I had so much wiggle and jiggle from my Ram factory puck system to fifth wheel adapter that I had non-stop anxiety headed down the road. I took apart my tail-air fifth wheel tongue and installed this adapter to run off my 2 5/8" goose ball. Wow! The trailer is completely silent behind me and the jarring and shifting associated with the multiple adapters is completely gone. Now it feels just like my gooseneck trailer. This adapter is the best modification I have made to my Forest River 5th wheel yet.

A must buy for gooseneck conversion.
I am happy with this purchase. It bolted right up to my 2007 Forrest River Wildwood trailer. It took about an hour to drill pilot wholes and then ratchet the self tapping screws. The hitch has stayed very secure for more than 6 months while I occasionally check on the tightness of the bolts after each move. I have been very pleased with how it has stayed secure to my fifth wheel hitch.

Disaster of a product
The bolts they shipped with the unit were too big to fit in the hitch's pre-drilled holes. The steel is extra hard and we went through 6 bits drilling out the holes in the hitch. We were mounting the hitch to an RV in the middle of nowhere and did not have the option of buying new mounting hardware. If that is not bad enough, the hitch would not release from the truck's gooseneck ball and had to be disassembled from the trailer to get it to release. I will be returning the unit and don't recommend purchasing it over the hours of labor and problems involved with it.

Built solid..
Went this route because all ready had gooseneck hitch (B&W) in F250SD. Cheaper then getting a regular 5th wheel set up..Pretty easy install, hardest thing was drilling holes the 4 holes in plate. Quality steel drill bit and pilot holes cooling spray a must...Works great..easy self locking to ball, and disengage cable..Well worth it.
