HUANG LIAN SU TABLETS 12 bottles (12 tablets per bottle, each 100mg)

These tablets are great for stomach discomfort ranging from simple food poisoning to dysbiosis. I originally used these tablets to cure my SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) within a few days, but I have also used these tablets to fight candida. They are great for food poisoning. I will be taking them with me on my trip to Thailand.The active ingredient in these tablets is berberine, a compound that is used in a lot of naturopath antibacterial/antifungal preparations. I have tried American brands (Swanson, Integrative Therapeutics, Metagenics) but these are the best. They seem to kill stomach bugs like no other.These tablets are a little different from American supplements in that they come in narrow tubes that fit 12 tablets each. I generally take 3-4 tablets for stomach problems, but I have taken an entire tube (12 tablets) in times of severe stomach distress. The only downside is they have a bitter taste, but the potency is worth it!UPDATE: Used these on a trip to Thailand and didn't get food poisoning once! Even ate from the sketchy food stalls. These are awesome!

Again, very successful result. Again my dr told me not to take them because kidney lab results are not normal.

I did not expect much but these tablets really are quite miraculous. I seem to be susceptible to food poisoning and at least once a month I would get a sick stomach after eating at a restaurant. These little yellow pills solved the problem. I take 2 at the first sign of stomach cramps and the problem just goes away. I follow up with two more several hours later just to be sure. I carry them with me and am never without them. A holistic vet told me they are safe for cats and these pills have helped my own cats and also my friend's very sick cat who had IBD.I have not used them for anything other than a sick stomach but if you google "berberine" which is the active ingredient, you will see there are a lot of studies that prove the amazing antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of these pills. Nice that they are so affordable too.

I've been taking this brand of Huang Lian Su tablets since 2002. Ordered it off Amazon since 2016, & my most recent order of this is BROWN instead of bright yellow! I am disabled & too sick to return this crap. So bummed about this b/c I have a very painful sinus infection & really need the medicine that I know works for it, but essentially, they don't make it anymore. UPDATE: This is NOT the product it was. It used to be an herb, Indian Goldthread Rhizome + Corn Starch, and NOW it's called "100% Berberine Chloride," which, at best, might be the synthetic form of the original herb. They don't declare any "other ingredients," so it could have gluten in the filler, preservative, or coating, & you might not know.. -Account holder's daughter

This one was recommended by my Chinese doctor after I checked into the ER for food poisoning. My stomach is very sensitive and I found this helping to stop my diarrhea very quickly especially if I felt something went wrong after I ate. I just take couple pills and it stopped diarrhea.

Had to change my diet a bit which ended up really throwing my gut out of balance and was upset for weeks. I felt so much better within 48. I took 3 then 2 a day for a week. Stomach is much better. Great stuff!.

I love these pills! They help me feel better quickly no matter what is ailing my stomach--great for travel and everyday use. Have also proven very helpful to my mom, who suffers from Celiac Disease and finds that the pills bring relief if she accidentally eats something containing gluten. Highly recommended.

Bitter as all get out !! Used these for my stomach ulcer from pylori bacteria . ended up helping with pain and appetite coming back not initially what I took them for but definitely keeping these around from now on !
