Another Top Notch Filament That I Keep Around
I was blown away by the quality of this filament. The packaging is industry standard vacuum bags in a box, but they include a nice resealable bag for you to put it away in afterwards. At the price, the ease of printing was phenominal.I use a Prusa MK4, this was as easy as: stick the spool on the spool holder, load it and hit print. I started with the default Prusament PLA profile from PrusaSlicer, and that seemed to produce good results, but playing with the temperatures led me to use 210C and 60C when not using Input Shaper to get the best texture. The filament stuck great to both a textured PEI and smooth PEI sheet (no products added to the bed sheets, just cleaned with isopropyl) and released easily once the bed had cooled down, no flexing required! The models came out great, no stringing at all, and no banding issues that you'd expect if the filament varried in diameter. I measured the diameter with my calipers, and sure enough they reported exactly 1.75mm.When you're trying to take the filament off the spool this one doesn't shatter like some other PLAs, and the final prints seem strong and able to handle forces just like any other PLA filaments. The matte texture felt and looked great, but of course, different temperatures of printing will change this, so bare that in mind.I've had 3D printers since around 2016, and I remember when you just could not get affordable, good quality filament. My am I happy that has changed, this isn't the first Geeetech filament I've used, I have previously used their ABS+ and PETG lines, and they stack up to the same great quaility at the same great prices. I can say I will be using their filaments again.

Super Glowey once got it sticking ok
I got this because I wanted to have a go at some cool lithographs I had seen but using glow in the dark filament! So far, I've had issue after issue with my custom build printer so all I've managed is this baby YodaIt took a little bit of tweaking settings with this filament, I found it especially stringy and it struggled to stick to heat bed...I found raising my bed by 5 degrees and dropping my extruder by 6 managed to do the trick alright along with upping my retraction a few mmAfter this, it seemed to print pretty well!Overall I do like the new filament, it glows a lot more than I actually thought it would!I did have a slight issue with it snapping, its slightly more brittle than previous filaments I've had from this company but it was still not too badThe main thing with this filament is actually having some decent ideas to mess around with! The filament does take a few tiny tweaks to get the best out of it,but other than that, its nice filament! The composition is slightly different due to the glow in dark material they mix it with, but nothing most printers can't handle unless yours is very sensitive like mine in which case it does make a bit of a faff initially tuning for this, but I think you'll struggle to find something that isn't that is glow in the darkVery happy with it! Super Glowey?!

Poor quality filament
Extremely poor tolerances causing constant extruder jams and failed prints. Gets stuck in my 2mm extruder for my 0.8 printer, so tolerance is nearer +/- 0.3mm NOT +/-0.03mm. Spool winding not even with an unnecessary amount of filament bends. I suspect the filament wasn't cooled sufficiently before spooling. Not sure if the photo will show it, but my calipers measured a 0.1mm difference (low to high) over about 5cm of filament, including the kink. You may have better luck, but I doubt it. Save the disappointment and buy elsewhere.

Good quality Filament - And it glows
Another good filament from Geeetech. I've had good success from a lot of their filaments. It sticks to the bed well but you do need to increase your printing temperature as stated. I set mine to around 215 and it printed perfectly.I was a little sceptical that the phosphorus in it would affect the printing ability but it really didn't make any difference to the quality.I have to say I was a little disappointed with the glow in the dark. It does indeed glow in the dark really well but after about 10 minutes the glow hard gone. After looking online it's about normal for glow in the dark. (Maybe I just remember it lasting longer as a kid)Anyway my kids loved this filament and i've had lots of requests for prints.Just a heads up It's quite a clear filament once printed so if like me you used a dark colour before this one you may get traces from your hot end show on your prints.

Great for functional parts - extremely strong and easy to print
The filament delivers excellent performance consistently. Highly recommendedThe colour remains the same after printed(I had filaments where the colour came out yellowish instead of white) making it perfect for prototypes and final products. The prints come out incredibly smooth with impressive detail, even on complex designs. I've noticed no clogging issues, and the filament feeds through the extruder flawlessly, providing a hassle-free printing experience. The prints are sturdy and can withstand a fair amount of stress, making it ideal for functional parts. Additionally, the filament adheres well to the build plate, reducing warping issues common with ABS.Print settings: 90c bed and 235c extrusion at 150mm/s
