Handmade Celadon Chinese Kung Fu Teacups 2oz. Vivied Koi Fish (C-003)

Very nice little cup! This is perfect for my daily gongfu brewing! Great size, texture, the glaze is beautiful, the fish detail is so nice.

Not a whole lot to say about a tea cup, but I ordered two types and they looked exactly as they appeared in the images. No scratches or imperfections were noted on them. They hold the quantity claimed. Shipping took a very long time (20 days from date of order) to receive the teacups on the same coast they shipped from (West), but that is stated clearly in the expected delivery timelines for the item so you can't fairly take points off for that. I am always a little cautious when ordering foodware online, so if anyone else was worried I did a test using the 3M LeadCheck LC-2SDC and it was negative so everything is good to go.

I bought two of these (single fish and two fish) to drink Sake from. I find that the traditional 1 oz amount has us continually refilling so I figured a slightly larger size might work better for us. These cups are advertised as 2 oz. and they are. *Exactly*. Meaning that if you fill it to the very top edge it is 2 oz. So unless you have a VERY steady hand you will probably only fill to 1 1/2 -1 3/4 oz. This is perfect for what we wanted, just a little more. When I unpacked the very well packed box, I noticed that the interior lip was rounded. It gave the whole cup a very pleasing appearance but I was worried it might be unpleasant to actually drink from. It turns out the roundness actually helps the liquid flow so there is very little moisture left of the exterior of the cup. A very fine drinking experience. Cup was also very pleasing to hold in the hand, and it's wide base and low walls ensure no tipping when things might get a little 'unsteady' with repeated refilling.

Don't waste your money on these bowls/ cups. I received mine after waiting many weeks for its arrival and the first thing that came to mind when I pulled it out if it's packagingwas that it was a good thing that I didn't send it as a gift to a friend. A friend would think I didn't like them anymore if I sent them this cup. The tiny grey blob of a tadpole looking thing inside the bowl is supposed to look like a two toned koo fish. The grey, possible salamander, or tadpole looking, detail has no details like what was shown in the pictures. I am truly disheartened that the quality is just so poor. I was so excited when I ordered it because they look absolutely adorable. Don't be fooled by the pictures.

These cups were well worth the wait. I worried that they might not be as pretty in person as they are in the ad but they definitely are. Mine seemed slightly greener than the photos but, otherwise, are exactly as shown.

These are tiny and lovely, just as I hoped! I am not sure I will use them for drinking, but they are really nice to look at and handle, and I might use them for dried fruits and nuts.
