Actually, quite awesome.
Bought this to use with my Iron Gym Extreme Pull up bar. Easy assembly except for the two pieces of foam that need to be placed onto the bar (the part that would cushion your back if doing leg raises), they are definitely snug and will benefit from some dry lubricant for initial placement. This product is definitely sturdy. Foam is good to excellent quality, metal is excellent quality. The hooks are actually quite more accommodating than you can tell in the stock picture - and are large enough to rest comfortably/securely on the pull up bar, and allow for easy disengagement. The one thing I noted is that this thing is really further off the ground than I thought it would be. Great for doing leg raises. But to get on this thing for dips I have to use a step stool or chair. All in all, excellent product.--One last point - much cheaper than having to purchase an individual dip set-up. With this and the Iron Gym Extreme, great combination for upper body/ab workout!--Another Edit (after using for a few days): As one of the other reviewers has pointed out - the pads for the arms/elbows during leg/knee lifts are too wobbly to enable a solid workout. If you purchase this product for the leg lifts, it's a 1 star. If however you're like me and got this for dips, definitely 4-5 star.

Storing it was also a pain as it is bulky and not easy to store
This product is just okay in my opinion. It does the job but it wobbled a bit. For me it was a chore to hook on and off door pull-up bar mostly laziness on my part. Storing it was also a pain as it is bulky and not easy to store. However if you do not have space for dipping station and work out exclusively at home this is the way to go. If you have the space for a dipping station and don't mind dropping $99-150 on a dipping station that's the way to go. Ultimately I stopped using this product and got a dip station with no regrets. If I had to do it again I would not buy this product. I found the best deal for dip station on ebay.

Great for home workout
Easy to put together, very sturdy. I only use if for the dips but it works great. as others have said the padded grips can be hard to put on, but if you sprinkle a little baby powder on they will slid right on.

Cheap, not well thought out, flimsy, shaky, rattles, Complete waste of money.
I followed the instructions..(no stranger to home workout equipment) Installed it, The thing does not fit together snugly. its one of those snap on things. It is definitely not secure, too high to be a dip machine. Too shaky to steadily hold yourself up. AB TRAINING? forget about it! You spend more energy and time trying to stay on the thing without falling off. it feels like it is about to fall apart. It simply HOOKS on to the top bar, and it rips into the handle bar pads. I was so thrilled to get it for $10 cheaper, then when it arrived, I wished I bought it for $10 more at the sporting goods store so i could return the damned thing without having to pay shipping. This thing was a big let down, and if I were to keep using it, i am certain it will LET ME DOWN on the GROUND HARD. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF S*** Believe me, if you are a big fitness buff like me, this thing will piSS you off.

Portable Dip Bar
Better Body Solutions Power Dip Station has a good design in theory and is a lot easier to store than the full dip stations that I've seen available HOWEVER, the way they've chosen to build it is absolutely stupid, not only is the metal cheap but the two main arms where you would grip for dips are held together only with two little push pin mechanisms that wiggle A LOT. The product says it's rated at about 250 lbs but anyone that weighs more than 100 lbs will bend the arms from a 90 degree angle to a 100 degree angle. In addition, I'm 6'4" and it's still tough for me to get up to a starting position for dips. You are forced to jump up, which because of the cheap material, will cause the metal arms to bend further. Eventually, the arms will be bent so much that you won't be able to use it anymore. I welded mine up to stop the wiggling in 2 places I was noticing (the arms and where the hook pieces fit into the arms) but that doesn't stop the arms from bending when weight is added. I will be reinforcing the arms with a thicker gauge steal pipe welding it to the existing arms which will hold the arms still but if you have any welding skills or know someone who does, just take a picture of what this station looks like and build it from scratch with better steal and weld it together into one piece, it will be a lot safer and more effective.

An inexpensive way to add dips to your routine!
Bought this to go with a doorframe pullup bar I already had and it fits fine. It wobbles a little and feels unsturdy, but appears to be holding up well and holds my weight easily. As other reviewers have noticed, gripping the bars closer to the doorframe cuts down on the wobbles. It can be a little hard to get into position on it (unless you are really tall) so I had to find a footstool to do the trick. I remove it to do pullups and stash it in the closet when I'm not using it - since it clearly blocks the doorway. Still the cheapest way to do dips that I've discovered so far.

Good for none beginner
So when this dip station arrived I was excited to open it up and see what I was working with, besides the fact that the bolts are a real pain to tighten the overall station seems loose and not sturdy when not hanging off the pull up bar, once it is set up it becomes a lot more stable, another couple negatives is it is pretty high and the foam padding that is meant as a arm rest slides if you are working on abs, now as far as the pros, if you are already used to doing dips, as long as your form is good it becomes a lot more stable as your working out, I also like the fact that you have a lot more options then just dips and is compact. In conclusion overall decent product for the price but not recommended as a permanent station if you have the space for legit pullup/dip station.

Does the Job
If you looking to do dips at home and keep things compact, this item will work fine. The construction is stable, but could be better. There seems to be some movement, up to a 1/4 inch when grabbing hold of the handles. When performing the dip it holds well without any movement. I just think they could used something stronger instead of push buttons for adjustability. It doesn't work perfectly for every chin up bar attachment. I have a high quality Easyeffort travel bar, made in Canada not China, and it leaves the others on the market in the dust. This dip bar does not match up perfectly because of the extra strength bars on the chin up bar. So there is a bit of a downward angle to it. This doesn't affect the stability like I mentioned before, it would still do that on a cheaper chin up bar.I like the fact that you can change the width to 3 different sizes, 24 inch, 22 inch, and 20 inch. This allows for a good 100 rep total of dips for a complete dip workout. Also I say for home use, it would be nice to have it for mobility. Being able to pack it up in a large suit case with easier detachment. You can take it apart and then travel, but you will have bring along some tools. So improvement to make on this product:1. Make the construction for stable, no movement at all.2. If the adjustment buttons were something different for adjustment of width, it may make it more stable and there would be no need for further strengthening of movement.3. Make it easier to travel with, I mean that is a big selling feature, being able to take it with you and use it on other doorways.Overall I would give this a 5 out of 10 for the product.
