Uni Mechanical Pencil Lead Hi 0.5 mm, 4B, 60 mm x 40 Lead (HU053004B)

Works great, a little pricey, but it lasts long. Feeling is good. And it is a good form factor.

Being 4B lead, it writes super darkly and smoothly. However, unlike most 4B lead, this is much stronger - much higher quality than the Faber-Castell stuff that I used before, in that it doesn't splinter and doesn't crumble. Honestly, the only complaint that I have is the price (US$6 for 40 leads at the time of writing). There are definitely cheaper options, but if you're trying out 4B for the first time or just need one vial, then you can't go wrong here.

Just what I needed and at a fraction of the cost at my local school supply store. Yes, I had to wait a few weeks for the item to arrive from overseas. But, I literally paid pennies per lead than what it would have cost me here locally. Worth every penny and worth the wait!
