Fitted but with effort into a LazySpa 'Egg'
Bought this for a Lazy Spa Egg (Think they are all the same). The metal shaft was too long for housing so had to grind it down by about 3-4mm. Couldn't use the old plastic one as was too thick. The rubber grommets at either end had actually failed on my old Impeller causing it to make contact with sides of bore and grind to a halt. i thought new grommets that came with impeller would be too small but actually work fine.Took maybe 15-20 mins. I bought a seal kit seperatly which I would recommend, my seals had obviosuly seen better days when i took pump apart. All in all, 'Egg' is now absoutlly silent and very happy with outcome.

Works well, also had to cut the rod...
As with all of the other reviews, I also had to cut the rod by about 4mm. Replaced my broken impeller after watching a couple of YouTube videos, nothing too taxing.Just remember to REMOVE YOUR BLACK SEAL FROM CAPS FROM INSIDE YOUR HOT TUB after you've fitted it! I forgot and thought the egg was still faulty! It worked a treat after this!

Did the job, with some slight modification
If you are reading this then you clearly know why you need one of these. Obviously a cheaper copy but really important replacement part. I am no expert, simply followed a DIY video on the internet. Received item in good time. As I had the faulty impeller removed already, I was able to compare. The only clear difference was the central rod, which was about 5mm longer than the rod on the original. It therefore didn't fit in to the pump correctly. I decided to cut the rod with a hack saw to the same size. It then fitted perfectly. On re-assembling everything and fitting new seals, the lazy-Spa Egg started working again! Scored 3/5 as had to make my own modifications.

Had to modify slightly
Bought to replace impeller in my Lay-Z spa hot tub pump which is a few years old now (grey egg). I found the metal rod was a bit long compared to the one I removed, so had to cut it down with a hacksaw so please bear that in mind if you are purchasing. You might want to add a hacksaw to your basket if you haven't already got one!

Perfect product.
Hot tub pump is now silent. Great product apart from having to cut the shaft down by 5mm. Still great though.
