Only two prongs work in Italy
It works fine, but the big converter has come apart slightly. Only used on this current trip. I'm in Italy and only the converter works and one other adpter. It's just OK

Worked in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
Took this to Germany, Switzerland and Austria and it worked great to charge my phone and my ipad mini. I did notice it got a little warm during charging, but none of my electronics were any worse for wear at the end of the trip. It definitely cannot be used on any devices that produce heat (hair dryer, flat iron or curling iron). That wasn't a problem for me as all the hotels had blow dryers in the rooms and I was able to buy a little travel sized flat iron while on my trip.

Overheats and buzzes. Not a recommended buy.
I really want to like this product as it seems to be everything that you could want in a travel package if you're visiting multiple countries. Unfortunately, I bought this product for a trip to Europe which included England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. A minor point is that Switzerland's plug is different from the rest of Europe and this package didn't include the Swiss plug adapter.A more critical problem is that after one night the device became dangerous to use. The first night it worked fine but sometime during the second night, we heard a loud buzzing sound and when I went over to check the adapter it was hot enough to burn my fingers. I unplugged it and went about my business. I thought maybe it had gotten covered by something that was holding in heat or something, so I decided to try it again the next night and the same thing happened except I was more careful so that I didn't burn my fingers this time. The first five nights of the trip were in England and I tried the device three different nights with the same results. I tried the device again in France, Germany and Italy thinking that maybe the problem was not the device but something else. All countries had the same results.Luckily, the first night we had a problem I was in the room for the night and heard the buzzing. It got hot enough that it could have caught fire if I wasn't there or if I hadn't heard it buzzing.I would definitely stay away from this product until/unless the company makes some changes to the device. I don't do many reviews but for something like this, I felt that I had to let people know.On a side note, I would have gone directly to the company with my concerns but I cannot seem to find any way to contact them. There is no phone, website or email address on the product page on Amazon; Amazon has no published phone number to contact them (according to Amazon customer service); and Simran.com is a publishing company, not them.

Let me emphasize: this is a converter, not ...
Let me emphasize: this is a converter, not just an adapter so you can safely use 110V appliances and devices in European 220V service. A bit heavy but very effective and since it had two USB ports we were able to take one converter rather than two. Pro tip: take the box with you--it's much easier to pack that way. Second pro tip: you may want to order a second two-prong adapter (the little gray thing in the picture) or pick one up somewhere--my husband managed to forget this twice in France.

Great device
This came in handy on our last trip overseas. Only issue we had was that some of the outlets in the hotels did not work. It wasn't the adapters it was their outlets. We would plug in our devices and they would not charge or turn on. We had to keep switching around until we found a outlet that worked.

Do NOT buy this device as over heats easily while charging cell phone..Piece of junk. We had better luck with brand from WalMart
Do NOT buy this! Buy one from somewhere like WalMart instead. We bought this in advance of our trip to Australia. Everything connected just fine, however, when charging our cell phone it got very hot to touch the first day we used it. We unplugged to let it cool down in hopes of being able to use the next day. When we plugged it in the next day, it made a popping noise once plugged into the wall (luckily without cell phone plugged into it yet so cell phone was not damaged), it had a burning smell and obviously no longer worked. Luckily, we had purchased a more simple converter from WalMart in addition to this unit in case we had issue with one of them, then we'd still have another to use. The WalMart version got us through the rest of the trip, however, it was a bit inconvenient as we could only charge 1 cell phone or camera at a time. I highly recommend buying multiple converters to take with you as we found it's very inconvenient to only be able to fully charge one thing at a time (especially when you get back to hotel room late and want to go to bed, but then have to get back up during night to recharge something else so that you can use all devices the next day again) :-( When we got back, Amazon says it's too late to return this useless converter, so I sent a note to see if can still be returned, so my best advice.....DO NOT buy this!!

Worked perfectly in Scotland
We purchased this adapter/converter combo for UK use for cell phones and a laptop and had no issues at all. Per instructions, we set the indicator to the correct wattage for our needs and unplugged when not in use. Based on other reviews, we were careful not to leave anything unattended but the unit never got hot. I don't anticipate any issues with future travel use.

Good, compact design
Good, compact design. The adapters come in a nice case so you can pack several of the adapters if you aren't aren't sure of which ones you will need. They're durable and the converter works well.
