CELESTION T5891 G12H-75 Creamback 12 inch 75-watt Replacement Guitar Speaker - 16 Ohm

For years I had to learn to live with the squeaky, glassy sound of my Marshall DSL-40C, spending hours tweaking my multi-effects, trimming high-mids and highs to get it to sound decent. For clean acoustic sound it was good ...but who buy a Marshall to play only acoustic guitars?I finally realized I'd never paid attention to the speaker my combo came with, and decided to replace it with this Celestion 12H-75. I was finally able to achieve a professional sound, and that's even without adjusting the presets or the EQ. Even with the sound flat, it sounds 50 times better. If you're using a Celestion 12 Seventy, don't hesitate a minute longer; it's the best investment you could make. I can guarantee that no rock star would use this Seventy-80s piece of crap, haha.

Gives great tone, response right across the spectrum. Nice and heavy magnet. Sounds better than the G-12. Everyone has their opinions, but this is not too much treble, just right. And bass/mids are too.

Great speaker. Should get even better after it breaks in.

I love the sound of the creamback H 75 have a peavey valve king 50watt 1-12 was given to me I prefer Marshall re tubed with JJ ‘s 6l6 also had a V30 not a fan . The creamback is warmer Has a nice breakup maybe a little scooped .

I use these in a 4x12 and a 2x12 with a mix of Celestion Redback speakers. They're super clear and tight with a large low end, but they don't get muddy or woofy. They're reminiscent of a Greenback in that there's a nice upper midrange, but it's not spiky like a v30 and it has a tighter low end than a Greenback. These are great speakers for metal and tight palm mutes. I've played several amps through them (KSR, Framus, Mesa Boogie, etc) and they all sound great.

This speaker was installed into my EVH Iconic 40W Combo and it brought the amp to a higher level of performance. It’s an absolute beast of a speaker, rich in bottom end but very articulate in the mids with a soft but pure high end. Highly recommended.
