Not strong for big dogs mine broke

I got this to use for my cat baths and it has been just perfect. I am now able to have both hands free to do the bath while my cat is secure in the tub. Wish I had found this a long time ago!

I like it, and it does its job for a dog that is trained to sit and stay on the stand. However if you have a wiggle worm puppy the "tighter" will slip and loosen up and the puppy can get loose. Other than that I love the material/cable and the clip for the stand.

I was advised to get one of these for my squirmy boys butt last year but for some reason hesitated.I finally ordered another arm and this noose and am so happy I did.Grooming him is so much easier on both him and me now.We use to fight and grapple with one another.Now he knows he is trapped and almost goes to sleep.So glad I finally got this !

Works to prevent dogs from sitting while grooming. They step into it, then you attach it to the grooming arm. 'Would be nice if it was adjustable in length.

the cinch doesn't work well for short haired large dogs.It won't stay closed and the dog escapes. It's very good for a breed with a full mane, like a Neuffy or Chow.I wish it was a thicker wire also, but I can't find those any more.

use in tub to bathe small dogs, wish someone would make the padding longer so a dog couldn't twist and get the cable across their throat and potentially harm their trachea. Longer width loops which thread like a choke chain,.. the vinyl tubing covers the entire cable...better. Not available in small enough length.

It's a good fitt for a large dog. But the black slide is a bit too short and could be a little less "stiff" so it gets closer to the dog's neck.
