A great challenge, keeps me thinking
I was looking for a wooden puzzle that I could fiddle with while thinking, listening to music, watching TV. This fits the bill perfectly. Difficult enough to keep me occupied. I try not to remember the position of the pieces once I've solved the puzzle, so each time I dump it out and try to put it back together it takes me at lease half an hour. A nice challenge. Well made.

Endlessly challenging puzzle requiring no batteries or video screens!
I was so happy to buy this product for myself recently, as my mom bought me a plastic pentomino puzzle some decades ago. The workmanship is excellent. What made me think of pentominoes is that I purchased a plastic Tetris cube at a local store for fun, but it was so easy that I got bored in approximately 9.6 minutes. As I knew from the past, not so with pentominoes! And soon enough, family members of all ages were drawn in, everyone wanted one (so I ordered more), and no electronic device was involved....

Missing piece
Missing a piece. Bought it a few months ago but never opened it until today only to find one of the pieces was missing. It arrived all jumbled up so I couldn’t tell before opening and trying to put it together. Very disappointed

Pentominoes are nice, the booklet less so
Although the puzzle pieces are precise and fit together well, the Challenges Booklet contains errors. For instance, there is no way to form the twelve pentominoes into two 3 x 10 rectangles, and the "solution" to Challenge 6.1 has polyominoes of orders 1 through 4 rather than pentominoes. Challenge 6.3 is to make the twelve pentominoes into 4 Different 3 x 5 Boxes. There is no way to form the twelve pentominoes into four 3 x 5 rectangles; there are only seven sets of three pentominoes that will form a 3 x 5 rectangle, and none of them include pieces 3, 7, 11, or 12 (I, X, Z or W). Again, the "solution" includes smaller polyominoes.

Beautiful set, top quality
This set is a nice quality wood with a wooden case. It's exactly as pictured. It was a gift for an 8 year old, but it's good for all ages!
