I'm almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option - like a retracting kabuki, as recommended - might work better for building. Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer. Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!...or, at least, "not bad for an old broad, not at all!". I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It's FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes. Found it difficult to shade match - but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult? Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive "sampler" (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process. I tried "PORCELAIN" first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing "FAIR" looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I'm more peachy, like the "LIGHT" model - but I'm super pale...but ... but.. hem ..haw.. Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn't quite right, as I have. "Samplers" would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints - just sayin'. Step up,😀Laura Geller. I got the Fair and was not sure if it would work because I have a neutral skin tone that gets pale in winter and tans in summer. I got it specifically due to cheapest price point. I consider this makeup high end for my meager budget and would never pay full price. However something told me to go ahead. I don’t regret the purchase at all. I’m 50 with slight signs of an aging face, few wrinkles, a little redness sometimes, hormonal acne, once in a rare while. It went on darker than anticipated and later self adjusted in about 15-20 minutes. It evens out skin and gives a soft focus diffused look. Very quick to apply and stays put. Plus it feels like I have nothing on my skin, no makeup feel at all. I would definitely recommend especially at the current sale price. Give it a try because it definitely looks like this lady has some good makeup. It would be lovely to be able to afford to try more of this line. Just like good skincare at any age, a good makeup line is definitely a nice up level. This one is definitely worth it!

I tried to give it 5 stars! This is a great light to medium coverage powder coverage. It really does work great pink mature skin with fine lines and slight to moderate wrinkles. Very soft, even coverage. Accurate color. If you're very fair, go with the porcelain color. I'm saving the fair colour for summer when I have a slight tan. I'm trying all of her makeup now!

I like the coverage this product give me without feeling like I am "made up". The application I use is a brush and it looks mostly natural and doesn't settle into my lines like foundation does. My skin tends to be oily but dry in the fall and it works well all the time. It is definitely light and I use a moisturizer and primer underneath. Highly recommend for women over 50 who want to look natural and beautiful.
