Great value, very happy so far.
So far so good. This kit was our first to try with our Nespresso Vertuo. As others have stated, it does cut the cost at least in half. NOTE: To match the performance of the store bought pods, you must find espresso beans and grind them as fine as possible. The seals work great, even if a grain of coffee occasionally gets stuck on the rim. The brush is very useful both to clean the rim of the pod and to firmly press the top onto the rim. The scoop is a good size to double as a tamper, however it is a bit flimsy for that. We happen to have an old wooden tamper that works much better. I would give it 4.75 star rating for the flimsy scoop/tamper, but it works fine so I’ll round up to 5.Update: The Geesta seals are superior to cheaper seals. They are a tad thicker which means you can press more firmly along the inner edge for a better seal and a slightly smaller diameter which makes removal easier. They are a bit more expensive; but, you get what you pay for.

Works great! Saves money!
I can’t recommend this more. I’ve had it for four months. I started with a good supply of about 30 original pods, so I could rotate them. I make about 15 at a time (I drink one cup a day) They are super easy to make. The original pods were a little more difficult to open, you need a good exacto knife, and I had a small craft one that made it easier. Once that was done, the already refilled ones are easy to peel off and refill.Filing with your favorite coffee is easy, and the holder supports the pod. Use the brush to clean the edges off. Placing the new seal on is a little bit of a learning curve, but it’s not too hard. I use the other end of the brush the run around the inside of the edge to help seal, then press the rest down firmly and any extra down around. Some people have said their machine quit running with these refilled pods but I’ve had absolutely no problem.Does it take some time? Sure, you have to open the pods, empty the coffee, wash the pods, dry them, and sit down to refill them. I do most of this in front of the TV with a movie on. So really on my down time.

Good way to recycle
This packing kit allows you to refill the old used nespresso pods with your favorite coffee selections.I was hesitant to use it as the sticky metallic covers leave an extra layer over the lip of the pods. The little pods spin inside the machine so if you have extra sticky cover on them it will change the rate of rotation and the machine might act up or make noises and produce a watered down coffee. The results were mixed. Some refills worked better than others but overall is a good way of recycling.... i don't know if it will save you money as you have to spend a good amount of time cleaning up , refilling , and covering the used pods. Time consuming for sure.

The perfect kit when you can’t return the wrong coffee pods
I bought a new Nespresso machine. They changed the coffee input design from a capsule (aka the original line —- cheaper because patents have run out) to a pod that spins and contains a unique bar code (aka the Vertuo line — which I assume in Italian means “very expensive). There is also, unbeknownst to me at the time, a pro version of the Nespresso pods which are also different than Nespresso Original line and Nespresso Vertuo and are intended to be used in commercial machines. So, in a hurry, I selected the 150 pro variety capsules for about .50/capsule. I was excited. The capsules arrived. They didn’t fit. I was sad. Sadder yet when Amazon said no returns for the pods. After looking at the pricing for the Vertuo pods I was determined to figure out a way to make them work, after all I had the coffee it was just in the wrong packaging.Like many items in the Amazon catalog nowadays, there are multiple items that are the same but carry a different brand name and sometimes superficial changes to the items. I chose: Easy-Seal Coffee Capsule Refill Kit for Nespresso Vertuoline with a Brush, Scoop, Reusable Capsule Holder, and 80 Premium Foil Seals. This kit has all the necessary items needed to make lovely Vertuo capsules all on your own. I would recommend doing this as follows:Obtain used Vertuo pods from the coffee maker pod receptacle or buy empty new pods from AmazonUsing a razor blade go around the seal of the used pod, being sure you are removing all parts of the residual sealing sticker.Once pod is open, dump all contents into a small trash can and wipe the pod so it is shiny and clean.Grab the two black cylinders in the coffee kit and place the newly cleaned recycled pod into the larger of the two black cylinders on a flat surface.Obtain ground coffee and place this in the empty pod. Only fill the pod to the level or less of the sealing sticker.Using the plastic spoon, tamp down the coffee into the pod. If coffee grounds get kicked up on the lip of the rim then take the included brush to sweep them back into the pod. Make sure there is nothing around the entire top edge of the pod.Take one of the silver sealing stickers and carefully center it over the pod. Once you are happy with the alignment press down around the sides of the circle with your fingers.Take the smaller cylinder and press it down into the coffee filled pod sitting in the top of the large black cylinder. Then gently but firmly turn the top black cylinder for about 1/4 of the way. This will fully seal the silver foil sticker to the recovered capsule. Then pop it in the machine and enjoy.A few things that you cannot skip over. The tamping of the coffee into the capsule is what makes this work properly.Ensuring that no coffee grounds remain on the rim before sticking the sealing stickers to the recovered pods is the step which determines if you get great Espresso or Espresso and coffee grounds because your seal failed.

Keeping my nesspresso now!!!!
With the upcoming prices I decided to try this as opposed to selling my machine. I'd gotten seals before but it was basically a mess show. This is so simple, I'm a little ticked I didn't think of it. I'm a huge nesspresso coffee fan. The cost of Pods has been in steady rise and this online shop here was my only source for pods. Even though I love the coffee it's on the cool side for me. So while I nuke my cream and Agave, I make a pod with this product. Froth my cream and I'm off to the races with a superior cup of Heaven.I took a few minutes to clean out old used pods, so that was the most time consuming expense in getting this product. I rarely review items but this deserved the time to type it. I'd give ten stars if it was possible
