These fit modern sporting rifles with (or without) optics. They're priced great and are very nice quality.I have several different brands of gun socks and plan to buy these again.

I use these gun socks for protecting my rifles when storing them in a gun safe. The fabric is thick enough to fully protect a rifle in a gun safe from any nicks or scratches from adjacent firearms or bumps when removing it or returning it to the gun safe. The thick material also protects a rifle even when it is stretched over an AR grip and/or a rifle scope. The material will easily stretch full length over an AR including the pistol grip, optical sights, 10 round magazine and all accessories including lights, lasers and bipods. The rifle sight also easily fits over a full length hunting rifle with large scope. The socks are long enough that I do not use the tie cord on the open end of the sock but just fold over the extra material. The socks are silicone treated and they have fully protected my rifles from any rust or corrosion while stored in the gun safe.

Just got these, so can't speak to effectiveness or quality. What I CAN say is that the width is perfect. I had 2 gun socks that I bought from a box store a few years ago. It was a struggle to get them to fit over a rifle with a red dot scope on it. Not so with these bad boys! It slid right over it with no issue at all. I took the older 2 and put them on shotguns and used these on my rifles with scopes. Would definitely recommend.

I was suspicious that this cover would be too tight to fit over my scope and pistol grip. It fit wonderfully and was plenty long. Very happy with his purchase.

Nice and thick, significantly bigger than the typical socks so they're easy to fit over rifles with scopes or other protruding accessories.

Fits my Henry Model X shotgun. Glad I bought 4 and will be buying more...
