Excellent Purchase
I only get Timex watches. I love the dependability and modest price. This watch is perfect for me. I have eye sight issues and the large face and complete numbers are easy to read. The band fits well. The light is also a very nice feature. I am a woman who does not need fancy watches but functional to my specific needs. I love the blue background.

I have worn Timex watches for over 30 years. ...
I have worn Timex watches for over 30 years. I finally had to replace my last watch after 6 years because the band was a little loose, and the watch face was at the bottom of my wrist not over it. I was using the palm of my hand to pound a piece of my truck's steering column into place and the watch took a hit... shattering the crystal. Not the watch's fault.I was looking to replace it of course, but I was eyeballing something a bit more expensive, a Citizen. It was a low-end watch for the brand (about $80) but I was looking for something different. I was nearly ready to order it but then decided to have one last look at the Timex watches... then is dawned on me. The Citizen does not have Timex's Indiglo feature, or similar.. just glow-in-the-dark hands. That's when I decided to go for another Timex. I actually use the Indiglo feature a lot, and it's much easier to read in the dark or low light than glow-in-the-dark hands.I stuck with a brand I know and trust and I paid half as much. None of my Timex watches ever cost more than $50. They are just rock solid and very inexpensive for an attractive, every day timepiece. As you can see in the photo there are already some light scratches on the bezel. That's because I wear my watch 24/7, and I am always doing something in my workshop or outside. It's going to get some bumps and bruises. It's a tool for me, not jewelry.

Very handsome and easy to set and operate
My spousal unit is very pleased with this watch. He's an older fellow who has bad eyesight; the illumination of the face of the watch by pressing the "winder" really helps him see the time. The band is attractive and easy for him to slide onto his wrist. I found that setting the watch was very easy, as well. The price was also very reasonable, and Timex quality is generally top-notch. A win-win for us!

Great Casual and Work Watch, Sleek and Stylish. Great for anyone looking for first watch.
This watch is great. The feel on my wrist (and my wrist is a little smaller than others- skinny guy here) is a nice weight. I am not sure if I am going to try and resize it because I do like the secure, close feel to my wrist but I may reconsider in the coming weeks. With the overall appearance of the watch with the Indiglow, it’s very stylish, sleek, and I’ll say clutch just because of the back light. Also, the date box on the face of the watch is great for everyday casual and work environments. I am giving this watch 5 stars for the General out of the box feel and look. Great price for (I’m hoping) great quality.

Very classy and economical
My husband is old school and loves a stretch band watch and I was happy Timex made this in black. My husband wears the gold. I bought it for an anniversary gift and he looks great in the black. Also for the price, these Timex watches last forever!

Just as fancy as the fancy-pants watches!
For this price point, you cannot go wrong. I needed a simple analog watch for everyday wear but with my new job needing me to dress a little more professionally than I have had to in the past I thought that I would go for a watch with a more fashionable look to it. After looking at all the Fossil and Citizen watches that met what I was looking for I noticed this Timex. It had the same look to it, but was a heck of a lot less expensive so I figured that I would give it a try.I was really impressed when it arrived, as it has very sleek styling and the satin metallic black finish looks just as fancy as the watches going for upwards of $200. My wife has mentioned on several occasions that it looks great and we even stopped at the watch counter in Macy's to compare it to the more expensive watches, and it fits right in with them easily. At first I thought that there was something wrong with the date marker as it didn't move ahead after midnight, but then after playing with it I realized that I needed for "forward" the watch through a full 24 hour cycle so that it would "catch" on the date dial moving the number up at midnight. Once I did that, it has worked like a champ for two months now without a problem.
