These are nice to have around. In our residential setting we have a number of switches, routers, devices and wall receptacles. We also have a dusty environment here. So it is comforting to try to keep all of the unused RJ45 ports covered with these covers. They are easy to use, durable, and make a good seal when installed. Enjoy!

Overall I do like these but there are some drawbacks compared to the normal plastic covers. I bought these mainly to keep ports I don't use covered. I did end up using them for moving and it worked out too. The only major issue and why I docked 2 stars, was for the fact that these are hard to get out sometimes. I used them on my switch and some couplers. They got pushed in enough where I had to use a screwdriver or plastic tool to get them out. Maybe they are just too soft, not stiff enough, but again they do work great for what they are designed for.

These do what they’re supposed to do. They’re made of squishy translucent material and easily plug in and fully seal the socket. The only thing I would change if I could, is to make them ivory color to matches the socket and plate. The only colors I could find for similar products were white and black.

Work well, no complaints.
