Thats Not My puppy Board book

Our toddler granddaughter's favorite book! We have most of the collection.

This series is wonderful! I have purchased most for my grandson. These board books develop eye/hand coordination and fine motor skills in turning the pages. They are great for the child being able to look at a book themselves without ripping pages. You can use descriptive phrases such as rough, soft. bumpy, etc. to encourage expressive language. Pictures are simple which young children need, not too busy. The tactile part of it is varied which is great. Love these books! PS I was an Early Intervention Teacher for 14 years and these are great for classrooms. They clean up nice with a wipe.

This is one of my go to baby shower gifts for new moms. This series of books is the BEST for having your kiddo play with different textures. It's also very sturdy and the pages are easier to turn than a lot of other board books, which is a big plus for babies. I've had trouble finding these in most bookstores, Barnes and Noble sometimes has them and our local drugstore carries them (very random).Yes, the book is short, yes, there isn't much of a plot. Both of these things make it perfect for babies.We own this one and the dragon one. Both are ridiculously cute.

When I was pregnant with my daughter there was a well worn copy of this book in my doctors exam room and my husband would read it to me as we waited for the doctor. After my daughter was born I bought a copy of it for her and it is now one of her favorite books. She is almost 2 and every day she brings me the book and we read it over and over again. She loves squealing "Not My Puppy!" as I turn the pages and we feel the different parts that make it "Not her puppy". "Her" puppy always gets a big kiss on his squashy nose at the end :).I would recommend this book to any parent, as its fun and can hold the attention span of even the youngest book lover!

These books are wonderful I purchased several for my granddaughter she just loves them. Nice and sturdy so little hands can turn pages by themselves highly recommend if considering purchase.

I was expecting more out of this book. We loved the that’s not my dinosaur book and high expectations with this book. Overall the book came in excellent condition. It’s well constructed and sturdy. The fur on the pages are soft. My son loves rubbing his face and fingers on it. I was disappointed with the variety of the different things my son can touch. Most is all fur or not enough bumpy and crinkly sounds. Overall we still like this book. It has very bright colors and the pictures are cute.

My daughter was 13 months when she got this book and she loves it! I chose this one because she loves dogs, and I was right in my decision. She is very happy with so many dogs in the book and is very interested in the different textures they have. She keeps asking me to read it to her again and again, and many times she sits on the floor by herself turning pages and touching the puppies. I'd buy it again for sure.

My local library uses Usborne books for their baby lap-sit reading program. My daughter has enjoyed many of their books so my husband and I wanted to get her a few for Christmas. The "That's not my..." series are great for children 15 months or younger. As a teacher and first-time mother, I'd recommend that parents spend the extra money on these books. They're well-constructed, colorful, and entertaining.
