We have a child with Down Syndrome who can easily get out of most harnesses. We had a harness that we’d picked up at a zoo we visited a couple years ago, but due to his strength, the loop that attached to the parent strap broke.This is perfect for a few reasons, first, it fits snugly around the arm, it without a large loop like you’d find on a backpack. This helps prevent our little guy from slipping his arm out.It’s super light weight, so he almost didn’t realize it was on. This prevents him from wanting to spin around with it on.The harness straps are strongly attached. While we just got this, it doesn’t appear like it’s going to be something that comes apart quickly. Likewise, the parent strap attaches to a metal ring. That’s attached to the harness with a piece of reinforced nylon strapping.A plus is that the chest closure has a slide lock on it. While our little guy can’t pinch the closure hard enough yet, it’ll be one more obstacle he’ll have to figure out before he’d be able to slip out.Overall, I am very pleased the craftsmanship and quality. From a parent of a little guy who’ll take off unexpectedly and leaves us scurrying to catch him, thank you for a well thought-out product!

This is a great product, I have used it daily every since I bought it. But I do have an idea to make it even more functional. The vest needs to be longer to fit the torso of the body with a fitted closure like the other one. This will add more comfort for the child and another layer of safety, when walking. My grandson is 17 months old and he love it; but with the vest so short it rides up on the body and his neck gets red from the harness rubbing. Even with a small adjustment to the vest all other features are great. I recommend this highly for active toddlers. It is all about health and safety. Besides I am in my 60's and I get plenty of exercise along with him. LOL

Gets the job done. Makes it easy to keep track of my youngest, wild child. He cannot unbuckle himself. Only wish was that I could make fit snug enough so he couldn't wiggle around as much.

Bought it for my grandson who is just walking. He likes to head out into the street. It is a very gentle way to guide the toddler where you want them to go. He resists hanging on to his hand and turning him away from the street, but didn’t resist when guided by the harness. It is very cute also, with the dinosaur on the back.

Cute design and fits well. Well made and definitely worth keeping the kiddos safe! Don’t hesitate to use this.

I will never again judge a parent...ever. I had previously seen children with this product and called it a leash while looking down my nose at parents who used this. That is, until my 2-year-old great-grandson darted into the street and was almost hit by a car. I realized, at that moment, the parents holding the leash were the great parents, the ones who were intelligent enough to know that bad things can happen in the blink of an eye and kids are smarter than we give them credit for. I no longer criticize and I don't care what people think of me as long as my little guy is safe. I can walk with him and have him adjusted to MY pace, which is a heck of a lot slower than his. But, at least he can get out. Prior to this purchase I couldn't bring him anywhere, he loved to run and I, being 77 and disabled, wasn't able to catch him. I no longer have to worry about him running in the street, getting lost in a crowd, or just wandering off. I love this product and would recommend it for all moms and grandmoms. He loves it too. Bright, with painted dragons, it's fun for grandson.

Safety for my wild 2.5 who is 45lbs and size 5T (he's big and strong).He's fast and has selective hearing so I used this harness to train him.The cord is longer than others so it gave him more room.I only had to use it for a month and now he independently will hold my hand and walk
