I recently purchased this Solar Cover for my swimming pool, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Definitely a thicker stiffer plastic solar cover. Sounds brittle, but its the heavier guage plastice. It wants to stick together but just being careful when unfolding and with the taking it off and on the pool is caution enough. Don't let it hook on the side of the pool, damage may occur. Darker color is giving more heat into top 8 to 10" of the pool water. Enjoy ya'll

This cover was delivered only two weeks before I closed the pool for the year, but within those two weeks, I could see the difference it was making in keeping the water temperature warmer. It is a very durable cover that I hope will last for several years.

I bought one for a 30' round above ground pool. It's a perfect fit and low profile so the wind doesn't blow it off. I live in Southern Ohio which can get in the mid 90's in the summer but the evenings can often be quite cool in 60's to low 70's which can take the heat out of the pool. Last year, the max temperature the water got was 82 sitting in dirct sunlight in 90 degree days. Put this solar cover on and the water is in the 90's. Feels like swimming in the Caribbean, no more ball shrinkage getting into chilly water! It allows us to stay in the pool longer when the sun goes down due to the warm water. The cover holds the heat in on chilly evenings, prevents water evaporation & helps keep a lot of debris like leaves out as well. I am super satisfied with this purchase. The cover is light weight and easy to remove and put back on.

This worked very well for us. It would get our pool very warm. It was almost too warm some days. We would occasionally need to add some cool water. This cover had a much better price than some we have gotten in the past. We get incredible winds where we live and it did take some damage. However, I will get another one next spring.

Very thick compared to others and a bit oversized from the ordered size so it’ll allow you to cut it down to fit properly. The oversize is good if you use a solar reel as some of it tents up where it attaches to the reel allowing the extra to fit in the pool perfectly. Some may still need to cut it down, but worth the money.

...Now it's falling apart. I bought this last year and used it for about three months. Cleaned it off, packed it up and stored it for the winter in the shed. I've gotten about a month and a half use out of it and it's tearing and the plastic bubbles are filling up my skimmer. I know it's not the chemistry in my pool because I'm meticulous about that (I'm even more concerned about the investment in my pool heater). I know these don't last more than two seasons but only one three month season?! Maybe look at other brands first...

Best solar cover I have ever had. It is slightly larger than my pool so this with the sturdiness makes it very easy to put on and remove. The temp of my pool has been maintained so much better than using any previous covers. I do remove it during the hottest part of the day and it increases a couple of degrees, but helps retain heat during. If I recall correctly, I think clear covers might work for the hottest part of the day while blue retains better during the coolest! In Michigan with the cooler nights, I needed the latter.

Was expensive and find it works the same as a cheap blue cover.
