My dog absolutely hates to be groomed, if she sees a brush, she runs. However, she needs to be brushed more often than her trips to the groomers. The bristles are very thin and sharp so it did put me off a bit, but it is good as a brush. After a few attempts of brushing her, she is slowly getting used to it, so I'm having more successful grooming sessions. The clasp to remove the hair is excellent and makes the whole task so much easier. I would recommend this brush but just wish the bristles were slightly less sharp.

My cat absolutely loves this brush. I couldn’t believe how much fur I got from him and he purred the whole time. Today I gave him a quick brush and when I stopped he followed me around until I brushed him some more! So a big hit for us. I wasn’t put off by the reviews saying it was scratchy because I know my cat loves a good scratch but I can see that another animal may find it too harsh if they are not used to being brushed. The easy clean is great too. I put the fur in the garden for the birds to take for their nests. :)

Works fine and easy to clean. My cat likes it so I assume is not disturbing her. Could do with a smaller size head, this one is just about right for my 5 kg cat. I presume is good for a dog too.

Dog really doesn't like being brushed with this brush. Other than that would have been perfect.

My cat has a long fluffy coat, the brush has no trouble getting through it, also so easy to get rid of the coat on the brush, my cat loves to get her coat brushed

Gets fur off my reluctant cat quickly so I can groom him little and often. Removing the hair is really easy keeping the brush clean and hygenic

When I got this, I thought it was brilliant. When you brush your animal, getting rid of all the fur is as easy as anything - you just push the handle and it all pops off. Great! However it's no good if your animal hates it so much that they run away whenever you come close. The bristles are very sharp at the end and I think were incredibly uncomfortable for my poor dog. I've a cavapoo / retriever mix i.e. lots of long hair, and he really needs it to be brushed. He hated this like he has never hated anything else. So I've had to buy a different brush and this one sadly went in the bin. If only they'd sort out the bristles it would be brilliant.

This is an awesome brush with a self cleaning device, very handy as my cat sheds quite heavily and i was sick of peeling his fur off the previous one.The pins do not hurt him as he seems to enjoy the brushings.
