Oracle Tuning Power Scripts: With 100+ High Performance SQL Scripts (Oracle In-Focus) Paperback – March 6, 2014

The book and scripts are definitely worth the price and can be used as a good starting point to incorporate into your Oracle tuning kit. My one complaint is that the access to the script repository referenced in the book points to a URL that doesn't work. The email to use if you have issues also does not work. As I bought the book to have access to the scripts, this is a problem and it has been difficult to find a contact from Rampant that will help me.

The book provides a URL to access the scripts (not included on physical media). This URL has been taken down and the scripts are now hosted (for sale) elsewhere on the publisher website for $80.

I have gone through several chapters of this book, it gives me a deeper understanding of how to tune database, Good Job!!

I hope many will make as much use of the samples scripts as I was able to use. They have been very useful and I highly recommend it for other DBAs and programmers.
