Strong and sturdy
They look great and hold heavy full length curtains.

Not as described comes in 3 parts
Bought large size during lockdown, Husband is a builder so fits curtain poles regularly for customers and has NEVER seen or fitted a pole in 3 parts before, even the instructions they give you says it's in 2 parts. It's not solid on the extending pole and you can see the joins, the curtains also catch on closing. Brackets not strong, as usual fixings are rubbish so used stronger ones. You need a tiny alun key for finials, not supplied, one of ours was already threaded. Luckily we only have lightweight curtains that we don't close much. If I could of been bothered with the hassle I would of sent back. I have contacted seller but no reply as of yet.

Poor quality coating.
Bought two rails for my son's rear bedroom windows at his new home. Upon unpacking I noticed the brackets and finials had a coated finish which had small scuffs on them. A poor attempt at a satin nickel finish. Reluctantly have fitted them but fully expect the rail to lose it's looks when curtains are repeatedly closed and opened. Similar rails from B&M fitted in the other rooms are far better quality. Would not have purchased these if I'd seen them 'in the flesh' beforehand.

Item arrived damaged
Everything else about this is okay - it does get scratches on the coating but it's hardly noticeable since... well there's curtains on it. The issue I had was that the telescopic part of the pole (only on some of the longer length options) had been crushed in transit at one end.Due to the current situation with corona and longer delivery times I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending something back so I sawed off the end that had been crushed as there was still enough length in the pole to go across my windows.Everything else is grand - but it arrived severely damaged at one end. Sawing off the problem may not be so easy for other customers who order this.

Cheap and cheerful. suitable for lightweight fabrics. Need to supply your own screws and fittings
Instructions were less than helpful. So lightweight they’re not actually practical for a proper set of curtains. Cheap fittings. The supplied screws were useless. Really really sharp edges - Watch out for that. Great price though and with different fittings and super light weight curtains they’ll do the job well.

Description is extendable... they are not!
These are rubbish if you want a long curtain pole.... comes in three pieces???? So if you want to extend beyond a certain measurement the third section is in the middle. It looks stupid and makes the curtains stick so you have to drag over the join.Luckily (unlucky you might think)I ordered 2 of the same. I needed one long rail and a short one.So between myself and husband we worked out we had enough pole from the other to make up the gap. With a lot of tools and faffing about we managed to make two poles that work.....If we hadn't needed to put them up quickly we would have sent them back. They do look nice I have to say after my moan, so that gets the one star. These should not be described at been extendable beyond the length of the two main poles because any longer does not work!!

i had a problem
The curtain pole I received did not keep together at the join and kept slipping and coming apart. I contacted Viceroy Bedding who sent a standard reply - too late to return - they did not answer a further request as I again stated the item was faulty - I contacted Amazon and then got a reply from Viceroy saying I should pay return postage as got item postage free. Returned the item and had to pay £12. After 2 weeks of no response about my refund from Viceroy I again contacted Amazon who arranged my refund including postage paid. So not a good supplier if you have a problem

Poor quality & expected to pay return postage
Poor finish on the product. Various imperfections on the visible parts of the hold backs. Started to create a return on the product which I was going to be charged postage for (cost of postage deducted from my refund amount). When you read the company’s T&C’s I was wary to return the item as there seemed to be various clauses that would allow them to refuse the refund depending on how the returned product arrived. Decided to just keep as an unusable item as wasn’t willing to take the chance of paying for return and then being expected to pay further costs or not get my refund.
