Smooths out any ridges and makes my polish last up to 2 weeks. What more can you ask for?

I’ve worn press-ons for a few years now very regularly. Even with letting my nails relax for a week between sets I have ridges and dips in my soft, flimsy nails, so no press ons for a while but I still want to paint my nails, obv. Quick google and here I am, looking for ridge filler. I don’t love Essie polish in general (I hate the brush, it’s just too thin and I literally am just now realizing I could use an old brush from a bottle I liked. Anyway—) but I decided to give it a try, and it definitely works. My nails, especially my thumbs, are puckered from the press ons pulling on them and I was able to get a very smooth set done. My fingers only took one coat but my thumbs are a mess so I did two, and they looked great. Definitely recommend and will purchase again (unless I finally just give up press-ons ha).

The base coat helps smoothe out your nail bed and makes your nails look more professionally done. It is reasonable in price & over the long run lasts longer and protects your nails. I always do my own manicures, saving time & money. This product is by far one of the best I use.

This works so well!! Found from an Instagram acct and am now on my second bottle. It’s quite amazing how well it fills in ridges and dries within seconds. Love this stuff

I have been using this base coat for awhile now and I've come to the conclusion that it is pretty average. I usually like Essie products and this is by no means a bad product, just not anything special.It goes on easy, dries quickly, and no streaking. It smooths a small amount but not as much as I had hoped. It doesn't help my polish last any longer but it doesn't cause early flaking/peeling.Overall it is a decent base coat but if you want to make your polish last longer or need to even out your nails/ridges, you may want to try something else. If you need just an easy quick, no frills base coat then give it a try.

Based on a reco from a nail influencer on Instagram. I have seen a positive change in my nails since starting this routine. I will continue to use with every polish! I also just love Essie polish anyway!!

Originally, I'd written a bad review, but now, I "get it".I understand what this enamel is doing.#1- Makes nails look better#2 - Coats and smooths nail plate#3 - There IS a shine. Originally, I had complained that it was a "matte" finish, but it's a shiny "matte".#4 - Lasts! Stays on forever. I mean weeks!Very happy.

Goes on nice and holds up really well
